We absolutely DOMINATE bottom dwelling teams like
*checks notes*
(essentially winless at the time) San Jose and Vancouver
*checks again*
...ok maybe not dominate but we do manage to eek out wins against them by the skin of our teeth...
Yeah, I’m not taking AZ or any team lightly and neither should our players. We barely beat them at PNC last year.

Don’t need to the numbers say that at least Tro wouldn’t
Trocheck has 3G, 5P in his last 7 games.
Our 2C has 0G, 0P in his last 7 games and 1G, 3P in his last 19 games.

Nino has 7G, 8P playing 12:07 TOI/GP at 5v5 (1.82 G/60, 2.08 P/60)
Last year, Nino had 18G, 37P playing 13:03 TOI/GP 5v5 (1.1 G/60, 2.27 P/60)

Not saying we should have kept them (particularly at Tro's contract), but saying they wouldn't have helped us is a stretch.

I liked them both but we all knew early on in the offseason we werent keeping Tro. The Nino thing hurt though because is contract is a pretty good deal, and the Borg could have made it work.

Oh, I agree that we knew we weren't keeping Tro. And even Nino. Just not how this front office has operated to date.

It's fair to say though that we've replaced Tro with KK and Nino with Pacioretty (and Kase) and so far it hasn't worked out well despite the team doing fairly well. right now doesn't really matter though, it's the end of the season and playoffs that matter.

I mean if you ignore the 4 games of scoreless before your 7th game then yea, it looks better. Since his cold streak happened when our cold streak the correlation can be made. Although the goal last night dampens my point. Oh well

He has a less scoring rate per 60 there, almost a full goal more per 60, and playing with one of the best scoring wingers in the game.

Your comment was:

"Wouldn’t have helped us in our recent slump as he is slumping too." So I went back and counted how many games we've been slumping and came up with 7 (I mis-counted, it's 8). So I looked at Trocheck's stats in his last 7 games. I wasn't "cherry picking stats" to make it look better, I was using the timeframe you defined.

Anyhow, how a player does on another team is not always indicative of how he did, and would do here, but Trocheck was a vastly superior offensive player than our current 2C and I'm confident saying he would be still. If you disagree, that's fine but the production numbers say otherwise.

Hey guys.

I have Freddy Andersen in fantasy. Haven’t been able to find any updates as to when he’s back. Have there been any updates?

We literally have a thread on his injury like 4 threads down, try reading
Not saying this is what happened to this poster, but I've fallen victim to clicking on a thread from the main board of a team (as it shows up on the right if it has the last post in that subgroup) and asking a question only to be told there's a thread on it. It's my own fault though as I should just go to their forum and see if there's a thread, but I've been bit by that before.
