**** Duncan Keith too. **** everybody. I want the Norris.

I'd love to see it too. I think he is having a great season. That said, I don't think it's all that realistic. I HOPE he is a finalist for the Norris. That is still an outside shot. He will finish top-10 in Norris voting. Might even finish top-5 if he continues to keep his torrid offensive pace, but finishing as a finalist is a long shot at this point.

Remember, Girardi finished 6th one year in Norris voting, if I recall correctly.

Thank you McDonagh and Girardi (both had fantastic games scoring clutch goals) for bailing out Kreider's bone headed play.

With Girardi signed long term, and McDonagh on his great contract, we will have a top pair for a long time. Sather got that much right. Good move by him to ink these two long term.

Threw a vote Dominic Moore's way. That fourth line was good. Ryan McDonagh is one of the best things ever. Great and exciting win. Can't wait for Wednesday!

Hank stood tall and the rangers turned it around. We have the best overall d corps we have had in thirty years. **** yeah what a win!

Huge two points.

Did not look good for Smith. Almost certain he pulled or tore a ligament in the knee. Based on the angle it looked like the ACL went. Probably an end to the Coyotes playoff hopes.

This team would be legit dangerous, srsly, if Nash, St. Louis, and Kreider were scoring, and Stepan was playing like he did last year.

That last goal was why I love hockey.

That was such a fantastic job by Hagelin. Pure grinding behind the net after a really nice shot that handcuffed the goalie. Girardi had a heck of a shot there, too. And then buried by McD. That was a series of plays that should make anyone love this sport -- as good an example of the game you'll find.

Other than the first goal, Hank was lights out and came up big even with some spotty defense (particularly center coverage) at times.

The 4th line was fantastic all game. This may have been Dorsett's best game as a Ranger. He was ULTRA effective. If he can play like this the rest of the way he'll be a hell of an asset for us.

This was also Richards's best game since the Olympic break, I'd say. He was a monster after a spotty first period.

Finally, that comeback was just sweet as honey. That was a gutsy, gutsy win and the team showed a ton of heart. This team hasn't rolled over and played dead much this year even with the change in systems, etc. But that was a pretty fantastic comeback.

I'm so glad AV never completely gave up on him. When he was struggling, he'd sit him for Carcillio because of how important points were but he still put him in games where he could and it's paying off.

I'm very impressed by this team's character. They are not giving up.

And my god, McD. Name me a better overall defensemen, I simply cannot.

This is one of those games where 3 stars isn't enough.

McD
Girardi
Hagelin
Pouliot (who was just as good as Hags tonight)
The entire 4th line (all 3 were awesome!)
Richards

Side note: Boyle has been getting a lot of offensive chances short-handed lately. He's really stepped up his game of late, and much to the delight of the fanbase who dislikes him, he's played with size. He's had a quietly good season.

I'm glad Kreider's "goal" didn't decide the game, Girardi saved him :)

Btw, what is St.Louis and Stepan doing on the bench if they got the stomach flu? That **** is very contagious. Not very smart.

They gotta retire #27 like Graves and that other old guy they're gonna have to split it between Kovalev and MacTruck. Give him the C like a young Niedermeyer

Oh, and my rankings of course:

#1a/#1b - McDonagh/Girardi
#3 - Richards

Great game by that pair of Girardi and McDonagh.

Staal and Stralman didn't look too hot today.

All the stars to McDonagh. What a beast. He will have a fantastic career, so happy we get to watch it.

Hagelin was fantastic tonight.

Our fourth line was also fantastic. Taking the body, forechecking like beasts. I would've voted for them if it was an option ;)

I was pretty rah rah where's Carcillo but I saw a post here that said AV's using competition between those two to motivate them and keep them on edge. Think that's most of it and Dorsett was obviously very, very good tonight. Even in the bad games from those two guys, the energy has never been missing.

1st star: 1st defense pairing
2nd star: Richards line
3rd star: 4th line

Kreider still played a good physical game. Its tough to crucify the the kid after a bad luck/flukey type play. I just wish he played with a good playmaker. I know stepan has been better recently but he still ahd a bad year

Well the guy that turned on wrestling after the first period is going to be pissed.
