Well Enstrom's value pales in comparison to Fowler's, so there's that. Pulujarvi's is quite possibly higher than Ehlers' as well given scouting reports.

Well I don't buy that Enstrom is a #3 anymore and he is at the age where the wheels could fall off at any moment. Not to mention that Fowler >>>>> Enstrom. And also not to mention that Pulujarvi isn't available anyway (and his value is likely higher), and we don't want Enstrom. Multiple level fail right there Huffer.

I knew a few >>> were going to get replied.

The point is that at one point your opinion was that a young high end winger is only worth a top 3 D with 2 years left. Now you want to backtrack.

You're greatly underestimating Enstrom, as he's a solid #3, if not a #2. Easily for the next 2 years which is all that matters in this case.

And whether or not Pulujarvi is available anyway is also besides the point, because neither is Ehlers most likely.

The fail here is you not willing to use the same logic to your own teams pieces that you want to with another teams.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to propose a good trade, just pointing out the blanket statement that potential top 6 forward < #3 D man is totally untrue.....

Obviously Enstrom isn't worth Puljuarvi, and Fowler isn't worth Ehlers....

Not saying Enstrom = Fowler, not saying Puljuarvi = Ehlers so you don't have get get your panties in a twist

This, and it really should be obvious.

Wild is LHD heavy with Suter, Scandella, Brodin, Reilly, Prosser and Olloffson. They could do a LHD/RHD swap. I imagine the teams (or Fans of the teams in this case) would argue about perceived value to the point that a deal would be impossible to agree to.

Sharks can give you Dillon for a 2nd.

At first I thought a 2nd maybe steep, however Dillon is on a good contract and still young. So this is probably pretty fair. Maybe there would be a stipulation that if the jets miss the playoffs the pick would be 2018 or something, but pretty fair IMO

We do. the viability of a trade would depend on your management's opinion of Marincin. Is he emerging as a solid shot suppressing 4-5? If so Marincin+ for Myers. Is he a 6-7? If so no deal to be made

put his name out there last page...no bites. Which I am ok with. Martinez is a very solid piece for LA.

Awful. Myers is much, much better and more valuable than that.

Like I said. Depends on Jets managements opinion of Marincin. If they think he can be a complement to Trouba/Buff in the top 4 until Morrisey is ready it's a viable deal. Not likely that any Jets fan has that opinion of Marincin.

Also that is an undefined +
Also Myers is a very risky asset right now.

Yes i know but really it`s him or Muzzin if Sutter want a left and right match. Playing Martinez and his 4mil on 3rd pair is bad cap management.

I love Marincin, I have done it since he was an Oilers, but he is not a player I would move Tyler M for. He would be a toss in, in a some sort of trade, dunno what really. Leafs and Jets are bad partners.

good thing is in on the 2nd pair then huh? He can play either side although left is strong.

Only logical would be the tallest one of our RHD...

how close is Martinez to Meyers value wise? I imagine LA would have to add something but from my eyes (likely homer vision) it should not be too much at all. Especially considering the cap hits, and the fact cap space is a need for LA.

Great. I wonder how long it will take until a member of the Jets' FO sees this. Also, pluses are generally of lower value than the main asset, which automatically means that everything that would interest us is off the table. But if you want names, switch Gardiner for Marincin and drop the plus.

Myers is a risky asset. Still you somehow want him. Makes sense. It's almost like you want to buy low..

 Can't say I get the ellipses. Not exactly a shocking observation given that more risk = less cost is a pretty foundational value principle.

In that case, my offer of Bryan Little for Auston Matthews is valid. You know, there's a load of risk in trading a proven 2C for a prospect.

Unwilling to part with Gardiner or Rielly? None of our top 4 defensemen (Enstrom has a NMC) are going to Toronto then.

Ok then. Risky 3 for 5 + picks prospects is a no go.
