Corey Perry Skates Into Binnington's Neck, Binnington Punches Perry in the Back of the Head

like i said, perfectly played by Perry. Binnington or his teammates should have protected him better.
How often do you see a goalie sprawled out, in a vulnerable position and a player skates/hockey stops into the goalies head and neck area? I don’t think I’ve seen a play like this ever. If you think this was a perfect play then you need some help…

right, because most goalies don't put themselves in those positions, and most teams D stop players from crashing the crease

i agree Binnington should be suspended for punching Perry in the back of the head, then jumping on him while he was down. Despicable behaviour from Binnington there.

...I'm almost at a loss for words...Clint Malarchuk almost died on the ice when he was cut by a skate accidentally...Perry EASILY could have done it to Binnington on purpose...callous...just a callous take...

Perry could have been knocked out or worse by Binnington with an unsuspecting sucker punch. Brain bleeds are a thing after all.

Yeah, I’ve never seen a goalie sprawl. to cover the far post with his pad causing his upper body to move parallel to the ground. It happens so rarely we might not see it the rest of the decade.

If it does happen again I think we are all in agreement that an opposing player should just punt his head off his shoulders for being such a fool.

Perry has been playing hockey for decades, he knew exactly what he was doing. Binnington also showed a lot of restraint against someone who tried to Malarchuk him. If that was me, it would be a full stick swing at Perry's head.

Over dramatic. You would have a case had Perry stepped on his neck or kicked it.
Binny boy with a couple cheap shots are worthy of fine on the other hand.
