It looked like interference but not a very big deal IMO. Extremely unfortunate Laine seemed to be in pain/hurt but if I'd have seen the play I'd have been shocked to hear Laine would end up injured.
Not what I said, maybe Hasbro makes a Jump To Conclusions mat you could acquire?
Komarov has made plenty of dirty plays in his career, so to somehow put him above Perry is silly. They both have had their fair amount of bad plays.

Komarov is nowhere near as dirty as Perry, and you must account for the fact that Komarov doesn't have a face that begs for a proper beating.
I also have it on good authority, that Perry's mother didn't love him.

That Perry thing was just little something guys like Perry do to throw people off their game. Laine got it worse because he didn't know better to be fully prepared. Now he knows. It's a good thing.

Pretty much the same thing that Owen Nolan did to Grant Marshall who was also on his way to the bench.
It's cool to take cheap shots at guys who are gliding towards the bench. It teaches them, and is a good thing.

That was definitely intentional by Perry, everyone can see it. Just a dirty play by a dirty player and an embarrassment to the whole Canadian team.
Haha wow, sure was a cheapshot but threadworthy? lol. The time Niedermayer sent Forsberg headfirst in to the boards, that was a cheapshot worth reacting to. This? this kind of cheapshot occur once every game.

To be fair, Laine had the proper reaction. He said that it was no big deal and that he just took a painkiller and went back on ice.

This is HF, Perry could look at Laine the wrong way and we'd get a thread on it because he's a top prospect, let alone a Leafs draft option and a Finn. So Perry's little trip on Laine is a thread while a headshot on Kuznetsov isn't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The issue is that Laine was hurt on the play and could have badly injured his knee on a meaningless, cheap trip with the boot. Of course it's thread worthy and of course Perry should be scolded. Most 'cheap' plays don't result in injury, but this did, to an extent.
