Anyone watching the Chimp Crazy documentary? It's absolutely wild. Final episode airs on Sunday night.

I don’t have Apple TV, but this is one of the shows making me consider it. (For all Mankind is the other).
AppleTV actually has a lot of strong shows, imo. To add to these 2 there are:

Silo
Severance
Foundation
Ted Lasso
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
Mythic Quest
The Afterparty

There are more that I found “ok” but I’m pretty willing to vouch for all of these as a fun time. I do enjoy For All Mankind, even if it’s a little pulpy at times. The Afterparty is probably my favorite, for me it’s lots of laughs.

I'm a bit Apple TV fan too, M Nights Servant was fantastic and a must watch to me if you like horror. It wrapped up really well too.

Nothing about the Ads has gotten me to watch it. Why do you like it?

One of my favorite podcasts was raving about it so I gave it a shot and it’s great! A group of Mi5 agents who are all screw ups get put in one office together and as much as the main office wants nothing to do with them, they keep getting dragged into cases. Gary Oldman is fun as the leader with a flatulence problem.

I haven’t started Bad Monkey but it’s next. I might wait until all episodes are up.

Big fan of FAM. If you’re an Apple/iPhone user, should be able to get a 30 or 90 day trial depending on your device I think. I get my subscription for free through T-Mobile.

Like @Devils731 said, they have a good amount of great shows. Unlike Netflix that spends a lot of money on crap, Apple puts out less content but overall better quality.

Some of my favs:
Slow Horses
Trying
Acapulco
Loot
Severance
For All Mankind
Ted Lasso
Mythic Quest
Monarch

They also have some great documentaries like The Beastie Boys, Michael J. Fox’s Still, Steve Martin’s doc to name a few.

Just watched The Grand Tour Finale. I am a grown man balling my eyes out right now. I watched these guys for 22 years and they brought me so many laughs and adventures. Hard to find a trio with better chemistry than what these chaps showed on Top Gear and The Grand Tour. I will miss them immensely. At least there is still Clarksons Farm on Prime.

Not to give anything away but there was a moment in that special that connected all the way back to another one that made me tear up. Those three have always been a source of enjoyment and entertainment for me, and I'm not even much of a car person. I usually go through their specials at least once a year. I don't even know how many times I've seen both the older Africa specials and the Bolivia special now.

The Penguin is pretty damn good. The makeup on Farrell is incredible and he is so good. I really dig the feel of Matt Reeves' Batman universe.

Good to hear, I don't really like rewatching stuff but do you think it's needed to watch the batman movie again first? I saw but I honestly can't remember a single thing about the movie.

They kind of do a mini-recap at the beginning so even if it's been a while since you've seen it you should be fine.

I was skeptical of thr Penguin show but was very pleasantly surprised. I am always inclined to look a bit down on a Batman show without Batman. At least for this episode I didn’t miss Pattison.

So we are never getting Phoenix to see a Batman? That’s disappointing but they seemingly left no wiggle room for his Joker.

I finally accepted the 3 month trial for Apple TV, in part due to recommendations from you guys.

There are a few shows I want to make sure we watch before it expires. We’re into the second season of Slow Horses, and it is excellent.
The premise for Severance made me have quite a few deep conversations with friends.

That's just a fun show all around. They spent the money on the talent and story because there's not that many big location scenes or visual fx. Reminds me of Sneakers but british intelligence setting.

I see you Slow Horses peeps coming around 😎 Gary Oldman was a guest on Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me This Week, and did a great spot talking about his character on the show.

While waiting for season 4 of SH to be completely available, I watched Warrior on Netflix. It was on my Max list forever but kept forgetting about it. Completely fell in love with that show, the characters and the theme song! Loved the story and the fighting sequences were great. Too bad when HBO cleaned house they decided to cancel it despite seemingly good viewership. Hoping Netflix picks up a S4 to wrap it up.

I know that the Amazon series the Rings of Power is not particularly well received but I was bored this summer and picked it up and it’s better than the general reputation. If you like Lord of the Rings it eventually picks up. But that’s not what I’m reporting on. In this week’s episode one character laments to another he is sad their time together will be up soon. The second character replies “all things must end” the first character then remarks “a pity. Is it not?” There is no way that was a coincidence. I’m guessing Peter Jackson has something to do with the show?
