How many of you would really be furious with Bruins Managment to the point of no longer supporting this team if they deal Carlo for Landeskog?

Thornton, Kessel, Wheeler, Seguin, Hamilton .. Carlo??? How many trades of players under 25 are we gonna accept without consequences???

I am just curious what the percentage would be...

Think they would be stupid to trade him unless there was another good defence prospect coming back. But still a Bruin fan ,a pissed of Bruin fan ,not like I could change teams.

Kessel, Seguin, and Thornton were elite players in and entering their prime

Brandon Carlo is a nice prospect

If they trade Carlo wouldn't that mean that they must have another defenseman on their radar, probably in return for a forward?

It wouldn't just be Carlo going their way.

It is weird --if we had 2 Carlos, I would send 1 to Colorado for Landy, no problem at all but having only 1 is very problematic.

Bruins do have some good Defence prospects in the system, but if there trading Carlo really think there giving up on this season.Who is going to replace him this season, they get better offensively but get worse defensively ?

Yikes, people need to pump the brakes on Carlo. He's a defensive d-man; there is limited upside here. He's been fantastic, but we've only seen him for half a year. I don't want him traded but it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Would hardly be the worst move the Bruins have done the last 5 years. I like Carlo as a potential shut down 20 minutes a night D man, but I also like landeskog as a 50+ point versatile winger at 24 years old. Would it make sense for a team that has been desperate for a Carlo type player the last 2 years to then find one and then turn around and deal him? No. and I'm not for it. But if someone wants to get silly and pay through the nose for him I would. Landy I'd probably say no, duchene though I'm a yes

Reports I just read is Colorado wants more then just Carlo for him from Bruins. I think some big issues will be Cap trouble for Bruins.Landeskog makes big money at 6 million while Carlo is a big bargain at 800 k and 2 more cheap years behind this one. And that is basicslly why Sweeney was hired is another thing I read.Depth on blueline will be issue as well.Either way I think Bruins miss playoffs this year too.I say that sadly.Kills me.

You say limited upside then follow with only seen him half a year.Thats the problem No one knows yet what he will turn into to.

Carlo isn't untouchable, but I want a very strong return. I'm not sure Landeskog is a strong enough return to warrant trading the type of player they've been trying to find for quite a while.

We are thin on defense as it is. People spend 90% of the time ******** on the defense. Yet, they want to trade one of the few young talented blueliners we have. Makes sense.

I'm on the fence with a Carlo for Landeskog deal with a slight bias towards turning it down, but if I have to add even a hockey puck to the deal it's a definite no. Landy is probably the better hockey player but it's just a question of need and right now we need a solid Dman like Carlo just a little more than we need a forward like Landeskog. I wouldn't be devastated but I wouldn't be cheering either.

I don't want Carlo traded for Landeskog, but let's pump the brakes here on Carlo, we are not talking about a generational talent.

I'm very confused as to the sudden change of heart, seemingly, by many posters here.

Seems like there's ignorance of the fact that Carlo, singlehandedly, has contributed more than anyone else at 20 years of age to solving the problem of having a joke NHL defensive core. A shiny, flashy object like Landeskog gets waived in front of everyone's faces and all bets are off.

I'm glad we're still riding the "Chara's the best shutdown Dman in the league and can play forever" notion that has clearly been sold by the old boys club.

Carlo to me projects as a second pairing guy with limited offensive upside. He's also not exactly an animal physically although with age he should get stronger. I like him but he's hardly untouchable IMO.

Won't make me stop being a fan of the Bruins.

However, in a vacuum I am against the trade if that is the only deal made. The defense cannot lose Carlo, ever with his recent struggles.

I'm going nowhere.

I've lived though Bruins management stupidity before. I'll survive.
