I remember he was 5'5 in the Q and then two years later he was 5'10 in the NHL.

Why?

If he was 5'5 when he started in the Q at 16 and was 5'10 in the NHL at 20 then that isn't that crazy I went from 5'6 to 5'10 in that same age range.

What's crazy to me is that in a billion dollar league, this stuff isn't standardized and reported accurately. There's absolutely no reason to fake this kind of information. Just report it accurately, and there will be no need to fake it.

Crazy that the league needs freakin' Ernst & Young to come in and observe height measurements.

How is it wasting resources to require accurate reporting of measurements? It’s obviously not inconsequential if teams and players are lying about it.

Kinda of wonder how Stankovens listed height is going to be . In junior he's currently listed as 5'8 and he is very much not .
