KD said thatctthink Bedardxwill be a cebter on the...but they may need to start hom at RW ...and if he has success tgere maybe he might stay there IF Hawks can find tge right compliment to center his kibexand help it defensively...Bedard is neither big nor as giidxas Crosby was at Center when he came into the league.. so realistically he might struggle in tgexd-zone with all the duties centers must do to prevent goals gkibgvinto our net.Fone in Juniors if you can outscore tge flaws defensively...but not in the NHL...so to me Hawks still need a Big physical two wY player to help Bedard especialky in defending in our zone...If we want a Center fitting that Bill we gotta draft David Edsyrom who woukd be perfect to help Bedard if Bedard at RW...

Or if tgey want to playy Bedard as a cebter then Colby Barlow at RW ...which meansctgey goito ?move up to get him...not going to last to #19....might bevtfere at #12 if we can deal with Pittsburgh to move up.

Or they could try getting somebody in free agency or a current roster player with another team in a" hockey trade "...

Nobody is worried Bouton Bedard producing offense ..but need to be wise about best 2 way players to help his kine not beca defensive liability.

You xBnit out Reichel with Bedard without that elementvofcgritcandvohsuicakity and defensive responsibility to help tgat line in tge defensive aspects...

Or ifvyou split "stars"...Bedard on line 1 Nd Reichek on kine 2 then both need some physical gritty 2xwYcgiys to help their respective lines...

We ibtuitivekyvkbowxtgis...so does KD..

I’m perpetually in awe of this bit.

There’s just no way someone is this bad at typing. Some of the keys you’re hitting aren’t anywhere near the keys needed to make the words you’re typing out.

One thing is for sure, your commitment to this bit sounds like Bedard’s commitment to the game of hockey. That should be a good sign for the Hawks moving forward.

I have also seen a few posters say give him the C as soon as possible. I am 100% against that.

He doesn't need any more pressure on his shoulders then what he will already have. Putting the C on young studs isn't a given either. Jack Hughes isn't a Captain after his 4th season.

Give Bedard time. Let's see how he acts and talks in the lockeroom and maybe in year 3 you consider that...maybe..

Because they already gave it to their prior 1st overall pick.

It is dumb but the way of the league now. And Bedard has shown leadership on and off the ice according to all. So he's likely that target soon. But it should go to someone like Murphy for now

Yeah people see #1 then assume they should be captain. I have no doubt he will be a great leader here, but he doesn't need the added responsibility just yet. In a few years I am sure it will be his. As for who wears it now...maybe they rotate 3 A's with Murphy, Jones & Johnson..
