San Antonio is massive in population for the same reason that Columbus is: the city annexes areas in order to extend water and sewer service. San Antonio is 7th in population and Columbus 15th, but the metro area population ranks are 25th and 32nd, respectively.

Yea, but I wouldn't put any area over 1,000,000 as a small town.

Either way, heck of a compliment and I have to agree. Since I've moved here 7 years ago, I have been so impressed with how the dining choices have just exploded in quantity and quality.

Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but I am looking for one ticket stub from game #4 vs Pittsburgh in the playoffs last year, there first home playoff win.

I was able to buy game #2, but want the first home playoff game as well.

Thanks.

No big deal. Some personal stuff came up so I can't make it otherwise I'd be going to see them try for 9. If you know anyone else interested just shoot me a message.

Sounds good.

I never been to a Blue Jackets game before. I am a Red Wings fan and hardcore hockey fan in general who just moved to Cincinnati a year ago. Was wondering what to expect as far as traffic and all that. What time should I anticipate arriving in that area. I would like to arrive early enough to see the pregame warmups and all that.

I'm hoping it's not as bad as trying to see a game in Detroit. I have left numerous times anticipating arriving a solid 45 minutes early only to get in moments before puck drop.

There is plenty of parking around (garages), but with Pens fans coming in it will be more crowded than usual. Depending on your schedule, you could always do lunch around noon and then head in at 1:00 (gates open an hour before faceoff). Since it's a weekend afternoon, overall traffic shouldn't be too bad that time of day. Parking will run you $10-$15 depending on how close you decide to park.

You could arrive at 1:00/1:15 and still have plenty of time to get in before warmups. It depends on what you want to do - get in at 1:00 and explore the arena a bit, or wait till 1:30 and get in for warmups.

If by arrive you mean IN the arena, then yes. Warmups start around 6:20 during reg scheduled games, so figuring 1:20 tomorrow is safe. However, if you plan tomarrive at the venue and need to wait for the wanders to do their thing at the entrance, I'd get there right at 1:00 tomorrow to see warmups.

Yeah, sorry...that was not clear. Arrive to garage and arrive to seat are two different things.

I generally hit the bars or restaurants further away from the arena when we play teams who's fans travel well. Much nicer to eat and drink in peace instead of having to listen to their drunken chants the entire time.

Worst experience I've had is when Chicago comes to town.

I still go though, lol..:shakehead

I'm sure this is a long shot, but I'm looking for 5 tickets for wednesday against the leafs - I'll be bringing my older mom to her second game in like 30 years, so ideally somewhere not crazy. Lower bowl ideally, but upper bowl will do. Let me know what you have - will check here again tomorrow before picking some up on stubhub

Has anyone here ever had a stubhub ticket say something to the effect "must print on paper, not valid for entry by mobile device" on it?

Has there ever been a HF board meet-up during the game?

There is a group that meets next to the cannon between periods, I think it's more like the twitter people, but has anyone ever suggested a meet up between periods or even before or after the games at a bar?

It would be kinda cool to put names and faces to all the people...we spend enough time talking(arguing) about hockey on here, why not do it over some beers?

Anyone interested? I'll be at the game tomorrow
