Would a player like Chinakov be available? I know he asked for a trade earlier this year but I don’t know what became of that. With his 12th of the year it’s looking like he’s finding a spot in Columbus
I don’t think so.Would a player like Chinakov be available? I know he asked for a trade earlier this year but I don’t know what became of that. With his 12th of the year it’s looking like he’s finding a spot in Columbus
If anything he’s underrated now. This isn’t 2018. look at his stats as a CBJLaine has gotta be one of the most overhyped players of all time
No, they'll be retaining and adding picks to give him away and/or getting back players no one wants.Fair but Columbus isn’t just giving him away
He's not untouchable per se but yeah he is someone we're working to build around. Columbus is not your source for physical centers; we need the ones we have.I'd assume Voronkov is close to untouchable as well? I really like his and Marchenko's game. Probably two guys you'd continue to build around.
NahNo, they'll be retaining and adding picks to give him away.
He’d be a great fit for the Jets.Of course it won't be easy but I'd be surprised if he wants to play out the final 2 years of that deal in Columbus.
It's not working there. Give the Captain a chance to win somewhere else.
I don’t make the rules..I just live by themSo the rich get richer
What would Jenner cost WPGHe's not untouchable per se but yeah he is someone we're working to build around. Columbus is not your source for physical centers; we need the ones we have.
Jenner is especially unlikely because we badly need his mentoring experience. About the only way it could be rationalized is if we could get something similar going on the backend - and in such a scenario, y'all would also be taking on someone like Provorov or Severson as well as part of it on the assumption that they're not doing well. I recommend giving up on the idea. What would Jenner cost WPG
Yea no chance, rather keep Laine.I'd take Laine at 50% retained if they take Johansen and all of his money back.
Seems fair value.
Why not Vancouver ?
Laine could have been a superstar never mind star.
He has dominated some games, especially earlier in his career.
His last game with the Jets was one of the best I've seen from him.
I have heard he is lazy in the off season and doesn't do much skating at all. He has shown to be, not sure what the word is, disinterested? in the game.
It's a shame.
Sisqo - Throng songThis just in, Columbus has joined a throng of other NHL Franchises in being willing to move players no other team wants.
Idk I don't think he's had much time there cuz he is always hurt lol . Either way I can't see Columbus getting good value
Columbus is a team that shouldn't freak out imo they have the bones to an alright team and have had just garbage luck I could see them having a Vancouver season if they get lucky
Would also be interested in Peeke for the Jets. Seems like the r/h version of Samberg.
Would they trade Laine for nil?
A 9 million caphit for 2 more years. Laine not really worth much. We will roll the dice on him but not give up much.
