I've never gone to a game.in T.O. when I do, it will be to take in the Leafs atmosphere, see the rink etc. can't go expecting a good effort or a win sadly.

This group has made me question the thought of it every tim3.

The reputation is real, most of the time the atmosphere is so awkward, the whole building is quieter than a library you could hear a pin drop.

In one of my visits though the game went to OT and the Leafs won, it was so electric I would never forget the experience.

Unfortunately goaltending was treated as an afterthought the last 5 years

I blame the management for holding on to our goalie coach for too long, but drafting/trading/signing one seems like it is not an easy task. I actually think our goalie prospects are good now too.

Saying you prefer Jones to Sam doesn't mean you overstate Jones, it's just a testament to how awful Sam is.

Jones is a veteran, NHL caliber, platoon goalie and only ended up in the AHL this year... that's something predictable you can work with. Samsonov is probably the second most emotionally fragile goalie in the game next to Jack Campbell...

Yea, it comes across like that on TV. I've seen the Leafs in Ottawa and Montreal. Both were fun.

I'd go on a Saturday for sure... Which should help.

The best game I've gone to is in Vancouver vs the Leafs... was a 50/50 split for fans and after the whole incident between the two teams where there were tons of fights... was a lot of fun.

I think the best Leafs games are in other arenas where it is close to 50/50 in the crowd.

He's a sub .900 goalie for 5 years... he's bad... Samsanov is bad too, but there is at least upside, was a .919 goalie last year.
