That's pretty much what I mean.

Now that Eriksson idea of Viqsi's is intriguing and solves a big problem for us next season, but we'd obviously need to add.

I'm not sure I'd add much to get Eriksson. His numbers have trailed off since he came from Dallas. Maybe a 2nd or one of Golo/Prout? Maybe Leopold?

Interesting... no one on the Boston board seems to be interested in Cam. Calling him, "Flyweight, another average at best, BC kid"...

It's a good situation to be in for us with Boston, at least. Cam offers them the chance to load up on scoring threats at minimal cost. We're also not in the position to be "forced" to trade him.

If this trade happens it's very likely to be for an above market value return.

For you fellow advanced stat geeks... Cam has the 2nd highest corsi/60 minutes, out of every single player that has played for us since 2013. I don't think people realize how truly good he can be. Streaky, yes... but when his game is on, he's ON.

Doesn't surprise me that he's got good corsi, he takes an unbelievable amount of shots for a player that has the goal/point totals he has.

2012-13 he was 4th on the team in SoG. 2013-14 and 2014-15 he's 2nd on the team in SoG, currently 2 shots behind Johansen for the team lead this year.

Where does he rank on the team in shooting percentage? 8th, 12th, and 10th respectively.

Thats the difference between Johansen and Cam (besides size obviously) Cam takes shots from every where, where as Johansen usually takes the high percentage shots, mostly because he can get there with ease. I do like sticking Cam with Johansen and Jenner if hes stil around when Jenner gets back.

Far too often is his OFF on more than his ON switch.

Saw some Bruins fans agreeing that Reilly Smith for Cam would be a fair deal... I'd do that in a heartbeat.

I'm not so sure. Two streaky players, Eriksson has a good all around game but costs a lot more, and is UFA after next year.

Why not just hold on to Atkinson until the offseason and then move him? I don't think trading him to Boston is a solution at all, they won't be willing to send back a player to replace him, and its not like we need more future prospects or picks at this moment.

A team like Chicago could have A LOT of interest in Cam once the playoffs are over. They will be strapped by the cap, and he's cost controlled for the foreseeable future. Why not package him and Anisimov for Patrick Sharp? Chicago is also going to be in the market for a 2C, too. This trade could work out well for both sides. Then re-sign Letestu, let him and Wennberg battle it out for the 3C spot.

Top 9 would look something like this...
Jenner-Johansen-Sharp
Foligno-Dubinsky-Hartnell
Calvert-Letestu-Wennberg

How much does Sharp have left in the tank? Worth the price?
