Cheaper to have one guy do both jobs I guess.

On a related note, Rudo the other day said that he was making less than $800/month at one point at DNVR (but that he makes more than that now). I don't know how much more he makes now but DNVR isn't that old and that was far from a livable wage.

She would do well to spend some time around LG or even LJ and learn how to project better.

That personality and passion when speaking is kind of needed for both men and women when talking into the camera.

You need to draw the viewer in, so it doesn't become boring. It's a natural skill set that most don't have. You have to speak with the kind of personality that isn't always natural in real life, because it can be obnoxious in normal conversation. Some people can just be themselves, others have to play a character and exagerarate their personality, which isn't comfortable.

It's tougher for women too, because if they don't find the perfect balance, they can be accused (sometimes rightly sometimes wrongly) of sounding shrill or annoying.

Only ex players, or someone with some type of notoriety can get away with having a softer spoken, less enthralling personality on camera. Even then it's noticeably worse, we just accept it, because they provide an experienced perspective the regular media personalities don't have.

I'm absolutely SHOCKED to hear that Skip Bayless is an even more abhorrent human being away from the camera than he is in front of it.

Somewhat funny reaction by Shannon Sharpe--nope, I had nothing to do with that, you don't see my name mentioned in the lawsuit, no no no.

I'm normally pretty jaded when it comes to such blatent advertisement tricks designed to tug superficially at ones heartstrings. Usually I actually wonder about who is going to be taking care of these animals on a daily basis and if we'll ever see them again. You know...the normal cynical ET shit.

Then they named him Maxy.

f*** right off.

There was actually a vote. Maxy won with 53% of the votes.
