Lot of interesting players next summer. Lot of big lads that aren't all that long in the tooth as well.

Funny seeing guys you haven't thought of since you were paying attention to their draft year and they've mostly underwhelmed since.

Why'd Colangelo flee NU for Western Michigan? And has Western Michigan renamed the team to the Mercenaries yet?

I've got a guy on the inside at Northeastern, I'll ask him what's up with Colangelo

Western Michigan did make the tournament last two years but could also depend on wo NU brought in for recruits. NU also brought in Alex Campbell, transfer from Clarkson. These things are tough to figure out, a lot of moving parts.

As another example, Vinny Duplessis leaves BU to go be starting goalie for defending champs Quinnipiac. It seems that happened because BU wanted to add Caron from Brown. Makes you think if Duplessis is good enough to be QU goalie why wasn't that good enough for Pandolfo/BU.

Colangelo left because of "creative differences"

Ryan Siedem 6'2 Right D Notre Dame
Jaxson Nelson 6'4 Center Minnesota

Players I value higher than the critics
Cam Thiessen 6'0 C Ohio State
Reed Lebster 6'0 RW Michigan State
Lukas Sillinger 5'10 C Arizona State
Ondrej Psenicka 6'6 Wing Cornell
Nick Poisson 5'11 LW Providence

Curious about Anhorn. On the plus side, he is a point per game player for St. Cloud in one of the tougher college leagues.

Conversely, he turns 25 in January. Is there anything to suggest he can grow his game as a pro?

Dylan Peterson was a guy I was hoping Boston would draft in 2020, but he went a few picks ahead of ours

Late bloomer perhaps has had some injuries and lost a year to Covid which he's now making up, but guys like him you have to look at as organizational depth first, hopefully they turn out more than that

With Olson now in his fifth year with the Bulldogs does that mean there is no longer interest from the Bruins side of things or is it the player (his reps) looking to explore other options?

He's still Bruins property till August 15 and he was at this year's Development Camp, I believe he's still in their plans

My guy Gabriel Seger dominated Macklin Celebrini yesterday at the dot
Seger was 20 for 30
Celebrini was 4 for 21

Cornell is still the Gold Standard for College Free Agents with Western Michigan in 2nd

Sweeney better be on top of this years class and next. He’s going to need some free agent kid to come in. With no top picks in the draft, seems like his ace card.
