GOURDEYeah, it's way too early to call this either way.
Personally, I think they are playing the long game with Parssinen. He's like the Nico Sturm acquisition except he won't roll off as a UFA at the end of the season.
I could see the Avs looking to add a guy at #3C that is going to expire at the end of the season (Evans, Toews on a 1 yr deal, etc.) with the idea that Juuso is going to be their #3C next season and beyond. For this year, he's an extra bottom-6 guy.
Gotta give him at least 20 games or so to get used to playing on this team - like with all new guys.
I like em
Bro I’m drunk on a resort in Mexico screaming at people online about absolutely everything every night. I get it lol.Yeah he looked good.
I was just extremely upset after the Habs loss and looking for blood anywhere I could get it.
I very much though so from the beginning. Granted, I'm f***ing biased because he's a TPS boy and I saw him play live for multiple times. But he really was good, and had a great rookie run with Nashville. Don't look at his draft position, scouts basically forgot about him because he missed like 1.5 years with a serious injury when he was 16 yo.Is he going to be our next reclamation project, and we'll have a 3c for the foreseeable future?
My favourite part of the game tonight was when he told RIAL to eat his ass on the way to the bench after the GWG! This kids a gem.

And if he actually turns out to be a decent 3rd line C, it makes Colton expendable.
If Colton is playing 3C, then he's actually at the right percentage to be playing 3C.Colton is expendable anyway. Drouin is going to be cheaper option for top six wing and Colton is too expensive to play 3rd line.
If he is. He hasn't been doing that, not well anyway. If Colton is playing 3C, then he's actually at the right percentage to be playing 3C.
4.5 Isn't terrible for a top 6 winger, either. Right now, it's fine. If Nuke comes back, and we see him play wing on the 3rd line, then it's a big problem. If he is. He hasn't been doing that, not well anyway.
4M*. It's cheap for top six winger, but Drouin is better and most likely cheaper. It pushes Colton to third line. Third line winger for 4M is too expensive for us and while 4M 3C isn't a horrible thing, he hasn't been good in that role.4.5 Isn't terrible for a top 6 winger, either. Right now, it's fine. It is 4M. Not sure why I thought it was 4.5. He was good in that role when he was with Wood and LoC. When LoC went down, so did that lines production. Buuuut, at the time they were also forced into being our 2nd line because of the mass of injuries we had. I'm willing to give it another shot before we make a trade and waste more assets.4M*.
