I mean….can’t blame them for the most part. However yes it’s very apparent that they haven’t seen how Blackwood was playing in San Jose.People do not watch the Sharks it seems.
I guess we'll find out. He certainly has the talent but like I said his biggest issue is being mentally frail. Just don't underestimate the fact that now he's on a playoff team & he's officially declared as 1a goalie that now pressure is going to be on him. I know he has the athleticism. Just is he going to be able to handle all this pressure? It's one thing playing for a bottom team with no pressure or expectations. It's a whole different story when you're the guy for a playoff team. Time will tell. I just know from what I've seen that he plays fantastic when he's on, but when he cracks he cracks like an egg and it's bad. That history is there at 24-26 years old. Coup be cause for concern. However, SJs defense could break the spirits of any goalie and yet he’s been SJs best player (other than Celebrini) and a huge positive in what could have been a terrible room- for two years. Maybe Granlund, but I’d go Mackenzie.
Goalie is hard, I don’t see Mackenzie anymore likely to be frail than any goalie who outside the top 5-8 it’s in the world.
Look at Adin hills jump from SJ to Vegas. In my opinion, Blackwood was worlds better on equally bad sharks teams.
You mean the dogshit goalie playing behind the same defence Keumper did looked way better than he actually was? While in Colorado Grubauer received Vezina votes. He's a good goaltender, right?
