I wonder how many people here have actually watch Mitts play this year? Can't win a board battle, can't make a decent pass, coughs the puck up every play. Looks lost out there.
So has Coyle

Think Coyle will do well with the Avs.Bs fans are being too hard on Coyle, he'll do very well as a 3C on a contender like the Avs. Honestly he's tailor made to be a 3C. If he hit people he'd be a fan favorite, but he just uses his size to shield the puck instead.
Yes, no disputing we sold Mittelstadt at his absolute lowest value. This is the one trade the Avs made that I'm not sure of to be honest.
Coyle is not having a good season. Beauty of sports is you can always remedy that in the playoffs, but Mittelstadt might've done the same.
But more importantly, I'm willing to bet that in the 2 years Mittelstadt has left in his contract, his value will be higher at some point than what it is now.
Coyle on the other hand might just be tailing off. Or I'm positive he is. It comes down to can he still squeeze every drop of his ability in these 1.5 years with the Avs. They clearly are betting on that.
And well, coming off of a career year last year, he might do that. And he was the 3C for Boston when they made the finals, so I get it.

Is Brock Nelson known for playing a heavy game?Mackinnon
Nelson
Coyle
HEAVY
Thats kinda what I was thinking when I made the value of Mitts thread. A 1 for 1 for someone like RORSame deal for RoR and it wouldnt suck as much.
No, but he big. Physically heavy. Is Brock Nelson known for playing a heavy game?
Hell I have a hard enough time remembering the name of your coach nevermind your GM but the point still stands. Thanks for the info, it is greatly appreciated!
Yes, it is just you. Joe isn’t making the trades and hasn’t for some time now.
A hockey trade.I think this is a good trade for both teams.
Coyle is a much better 3C fit for Colorado. Better defensively and more physical.
Mittlestadt has a better chance of taking off offensively in Boston because I think he will get a chance to play with Pasta. He is a good playmaker and I think more talented offensively than Zacha.
We're going to have to send Mitts down to Providence to toughen him upIt’s a mandate to not be soft.
Him and rants couldn’t find any chemistry, I think mittlebust missed his buddies in bugfaloI think this is a good trade for both teams.

CMac addressed that point in his presser. He's being brought in to play a heavy minutes shutdown role as 3C. The Avs already have plenty of offensive firepower. That is an insanely terrible trade for Colorado
They are aware that Coyle has 22 points this year and not 60, right?

Is Mittelstadt a guy who fits in to “Bruin” hockey though?Like this deal for Boston
Coyle’s a beauty 3rd line C but has looked lost playing in the top 6.
Bruins get some more skill
