I think as much as Sharks are a bad team right now, I would dare to argue that at this point of the season it has become more of a mental thing. It repeats itself over and over again even though they can have a good game or a lead in 3rd period. The good news is that they can look good at games, but they can't finish them.
Young guys are trying to fight through by showing progress, but they can't catch a single break and when things look good for a hot minute, it goes south the next minute. It's kinda unfortunate, I hope this season goes out as an clear exception in Celebrini era.
I'm hopeful things are going to change next year. Celebrini can be the ''captain'' next year even without the C letter necessary. There is going to be a fresh squad (hopefully), a season to look for (0-0 situation), Celebrini/Smith will be one season wiser and better and rest of the group locked and ready to go!
