Good interview with Giroux on CiH,

Talked about how much harder good teams work in practice (mentioned the difference when he was traded from Philly to Florida)
Talked about how much faster the kids coming into the league are,
Talked about the disappointment of last season and... distractions in the room
Talked about some of the young guys like Greig, and Pinto.
Like pinto and Greig were the distractions lol?

Only player with a beef seemed to be Chychurn, and Branny got a little pissed as well sitting and playing forward couple of times.

lol, like you’ve been in the room.
I get it, it’s the internet, people make shit up,
Too many kids today believe what the read from twitter and Reddit, wait til we get AI rumours, it will be worse.
He was calling Pinto a scum bag and degenerate. Cant take him seriously.

His exact words were "we changed coaches, changed gms, changed owners, a lot of things happened, a lot of distractions,"
I think he left off... "If you let them distract you" which a few did.

I don't think he did. As a team though there were distractions and those distracted create their own distractions for others in some cases.

Could add the Pinto situation and losing a 1st round pick to that list I suppose as well.

the top forward line all had a poor season at once.

Giroux was 15 points less
Stuzzle was 16 less
Brady was 9 less
Debrincat to Tarasenko/whomever was about 3-4 points less
Batherson 4 points better. And so, correcting for the second line right winger.
#2 C was a wash

1-3 D men improved offensively

lines 3 and 4 were a wash
Dmen 4-7 were a wash

line #1 and line 2 RW hurt.
Goalies hurt... A whole lot.

The team's 1st line, would not even be on the same planet as the 1st line on 10-15 other teams.

Florida's 1st line was around 88 points avg
Edmonton 110 points
Dallas same as the Sens, but their depth blows Ottawa out of the water
Rangers about 80 points
Vancouver, Carolina, Boston, Colorado would all chew and spit the Senators 1st line right back out

The Leafs, Lightening, Jets, Predators also out did them.

That is 12 by my count. Their #1 line is at best 13th.

+9 from the tips at Eagle Creek? Man i'd love to be able to do that. I remember watching a charity event once with some PGA players and NHL'ers and the hockey players could hit these long shots but they would roll 30 yards past the green while the pro's could hit and stick it. Claude is in tough here but im impressed.

He had a better 2nd round, first 9 he was even, but in the back 9 he was 6 over, finished with a 78. Out of 156 competitors he is 155th the other guy withdrew.......
