The current generation of referees suffer from cowardice in large part and they are career referees so they don't want to make too many big calls and certainly not hurt the big teams...

Turkish teams aren't big teams however.
Refs just can't handle the fans pressure. Nothing new really, I'm only describing what's been going on for 40 years in places like Turkey, Greece, South Italia, Marseille, Corsica, etc....

It's been even worse lately since a lot of them are career referees. Before some refs had "independence" and lots of them came to be referees because they loved the game so much. It's the worst it's ever been at the moment. Some of them are even cheaters in the way they handle time added on.

Real has been shit all season, so I'm not expecting a dominant performance tonight.

It's funny every time they replay that goal the announcer calls the offside questionable or similar despite him being clearly a couple feet off. I mean, it's understandable why it was missed given how the play developed, but on replay it wasn't remotely close.

I love Guerreiro.

Real has been **** all season, so I'm not expecting a dominant performance tonight.

They'll wake up after this and turn it on for APOEL and Dortmund, then go for another long run in the knockout stage. Seems like they've gotten in the habit of doing that.
