Preaching to the choir.. I've been blasted on this board for stating exactly that. He still a good coach his results speak for themselves. However, he's waaaaay to overrated on here. Similar to Mou/Klopp.
Mou is basically a Simeone that's won more silverware.

Klopp gives his players hugs in training and had a pressing system that worked ages ago, but every team adapted to it.

Juve are still fine. Atletico will be in a ton of trouble if this score holds. Qualification will be out of their control.
If both Juve and Sporting lose to Barca and win against Olympiakos, Sporting is through.
Not sure how you can say they'll be fine.

They have a far better chance of getting a point vs. Barca and beating and running up the score on Olympiakos to get a better goal differential. They're still clear favorites.

Fine and all, but goal differential is not important since it's first between the two teams. With Sporting going through again.

I think at this point, it's highly believable that both will beat Olympiakos and both lose to Barca. In fact, I'd say it's the likeliest result.

if i was barca, id throw the game vs. SCP, provided they get a winner vs. Olympiakos today. Just to eliminate juve

Only if this score holds. You thought Sporting would qualify over Madrid last year and in the end the far better team went through. I think Juventus will get at least a point from Barca at home and that will be that.

You label them as fine and "clear favourites" even though as of now they're out and their only hope is either scoring in the next 20 minutes or getting a point against Barca.
At this point, they're in big trouble. Saying the contrary is just wrong.

Of course, you thought goal differential was the deciding factor

It's not certain but the qualification is in their hands. They are clear favorites because they are likely to beat Barca at home. They have far more at stake, they're at home, and the difference between the teams isn't that big. Sporting is far more likely to lose. Or give a goal in this game.

As of now, Sporting is second, but Juve is barely behind. Not by nearly as much as the gap in quality between these two teams and their likely results over the final two games.

I don't think Juve is favourite to beat Barca.
At all.

Anyway... Kurzawa with two goals today. Hopefully it gives him better confidence and he gets back on track in his season.

Yeah but that was pretty widespread for a couple years after his Inter spell and not limited to this forum.

Same for people thinking Klopp and Simeone are top 5 coaches the past few years.

So my original post was accurate.

Mou is basically a Simeone that's won more silverware.

Klopp gives his players hugs in training and had a pressing system that worked ages ago, but every team adapted to it.

He still is rated way too highly here.

Anyway, barca at this point should rename themselves Messi FC.

Nobody else plays there. Luis is shocking and honestly this might be the beginning of the end.
