Arizona sucked, Ottawa sucks (and has 2 other LD signed at 8mil per)why dpes this keep happening
It would seem the role and team trends would have a lot to do with it.

He hasn't been part of the problem, dude looks as advertised and is one of the few players who emit that ultra competitive vibe. I don't blame him for wanting out, this core is full of babies and will go nowhere.Exactly. All of these players trying to jump ship as if their shitty play isn't the reason for the gulf in disparity between on paper talent and on ice results.
Chiarelli?Peter Chiarelli enters the chat
Yes, it is, Boston.Chychrun has exclusively played for the two most dysfunctional franchises in professional sports. I have a feeling the grass probably is a lot greener somewhere, anywhere, else.
I get what you’re saying, but the Jets have had pretty good luck, even acknowledging the Trouba situation.Americans on small market Canadian teams. Match made in hell.

Well on the good news front for Ottawa, it didn’t really take long for competent management in Vancouver to turn things around. The only real lasting damage was the OEL deal right near the end of Benning’s reign of terror. Had they fired him before that all the pieces would have been in place to build a good team with lots of cap space. Both Benning and Dorion are Millburry-tier.
Unmitigated catastrophes who set their franchises back years.

Whoops… fixed"Omit" is an unfortunate choice of words here (presumably you mean "emit").
Our problem is that Dorion assembled the entirety of our current roster.Well on the good news front for Ottawa, it didn’t really take long for competent management in Vancouver to turn things around. The crazy part is Benning’s core is now winning with decent support.
If he doesn’t make that OEL trade, you could argue he built a near perfect team to hand off to competent management.
Sabres fan, but we're basically in the same boat. Bad management, lack of competitiveness, & small, undesirable markets are the three prongs of our mission statement. Ottawa at least has some hope with new ownership.DeBrincat now this. Wonder what’s going on.
In all fairness, it's been the Coyotes and Senators that he has had issues with. The grass is greener in most places compared to those two, from a team success perspective. This dude is going to spend his whole career thinking the grass is greener somewhere else and by the time he's smart enough to realize it's not it'll be too late. Sad.

He chose the brown grass of .385 over the light green of .536. He chose poorly. In all fairness, it's been the Coyotes and Senators that he has had issues with. The grass is greener in most places compared to those two, from a team success perspective.
