If he couldn't score goals, he'd either be trying to figure out the AHL game or he'd be back in Europe somewhere. If Laine is not scoring goals he's just another 20 year old trying to figure out the NHL game
Tkachuk matthews and pld seem to have figured it out when they are not scoringIf Laine is not scoring goals he's just another 20 year old trying to figure out the NHL game
I still blame Buff on that oneExcept for keeping the Jets in the game down one on the PP!
why?Faceoff that lead to the shorthanded goal...
Ref had full view of it. Should this not have resulted in a Jets 5-3 powerplay?
You have to close hand on puck, he pushed itFaceoff that lead to the shorthanded goal...

New lines incoming?Maurice not happy after this one. The Wild are getting a beating next game.

why does kyle connor escape your brutal list he was worse than laine and has been for a few games nowWell that’s a disappointing loss on many levels.
Trouba and Laine brutal
Scheifele and Wheeler meh
Little awesome on the dot but no puck luck
Copp and Lowry were very good
Kulikov too
A hand pass in the faceoff circle is illegal. The Dave Tippet rule. You have to close hand on puck, he pushed it
I thought you had to close hand on puck? Are you sure?A hand pass in the faceoff circle is illegal. The Dave Tippet rule.

I will not disagree with this take...why does kyle connor escape your brutal list he was worse than laine and has been for a few games now
Yup. Been in the rule book for a few years now.I thought you had to close hand on puck? Are you sure?

Didn’t know they changed that, thx Dan OHalloran!Yup. Been in the rule book for a few years now.
Flames are pretty good. Gaudreau is a little embellisher, Jets got goalied, Nashville lost again, Jets remain with a 4 pt lead over Nashville.
Good catch!Huh - I was looking for what seems to be an old rule about winning a face-off with your hands. Seems out of the rulebook now.
EDIT: Nope, I was right - rule 76.4
"Both players facing-off are prohibited from batting the puck with their hand in an attempt to win the face-off. Any attempt by either center to win the face-off by batting the puck with their hand shall result in a minor penalty. The two players involved in the actual face-off (the centers) are not permitted to play the puck with their hand without incurring a penalty under this rule until such time as a third player (from either team) has at least touched the puck. Once the face-off is deemed complete (and a winner of the face-off is clear) hand passes shall be enforced as per Rule 79. "
