Whew, what a relief! Johnny Snotty says he's fine (except for that little voice in his head telling him to stop being such a whiny dbag)...

This made me chuckle. But so true about human nature. If someone else gets more it means I got less even if I didn't want it in the 1st place.Yea from about 2:00PM on this week there is no one in the pool area other than one or two crazy Canadian’s.....this isn’t peak pool season in Arizona. The senior tensies show up at about 3:00 and don't swim they sit in the tall grass and clock watch and crank themselves up waiting for little baby gazelle’s to get too close to the water then “BAM” spring their trap.
This is a thought provoking post. Not sure I totally buy it, but just maybe there is more tentativeness to his game as a result that he has never got past.Maurice didn't change Laine's game. McCabe did.
In the d zone ? Just cus he's moving doesn't mean he's doing the right plays he's just as bad as laine but there boh young I'm just trying to point out so laine isnt always the whipping boyConnor puts effort into his play away from the puck at least.
It def can be.. Only confidence and time helps but it will always be in the back of his mind and a reason he is always bracing for a hit while receiving a pass in his own end wich cashes that second delay and creates enough time for the forecheckers to pounceThis is a thought provoking post. Not sure I totally buy it, but just maybe there is more tentativeness to his game as a result that he has never got past.
I think it made Laine keep his head up more than he did before the hit but to me his game is the same , if Laine isn't scoring his flaws in his game show more .This is a thought provoking post. How bout that amazing d play where he broke up the back door tap in after morrisey over played his gap and had his man fly by him ? Oh ya he didn't sign long term so let's ignore itNah. I haven't liked Trouba since he has a made a big fuss about signing long term and watching him cough up puck in the jets neutral zone against Vegas
Unless he's gotten a lot better since last year which I don't think he has
I get that .In the d zone ? Just cus he's moving doesn't mean he's doing the right plays he's just as bad as laine but there boh young I'm just trying to point out so laine isnt always the whipping boy
Yep Trouba also gave up the two on one by shooting puck into shin and turning the wrong way. He also is not as creative in oz always going for shot from blueline. So Mo may also make mistakes but that doesn't make Trouba's play good. How bout that amazing d play where he broke up the back door tap in after morrisey over played his gap and had his man fly by him ? ;DYour point is generally well made, but that was a ****ing **** show. There's no ****ing way Byfuglien took two penalties at the end, but they're watching ****ing Johnny Trademark bawling his eyes out and getting all coked up.
If those clowns always get officiating like that it's no wonder the pretenders think they're so good.

Agreed has never been the same! What does a one trick pony, power play specialist earn in todays NHL?Maurice didn't change Laine's game. McCabe did.
Problem on the 2nd line last night wasn't Little, it was the two wingers. In my opinion: to win a cup, we need...
...either Little to find a new gear offensively, or to acquire a new 2c to complement Laine (the way Stastny did). Little’s blown-one-timer tonight (whole net available: shoots way wide) is just one of many sad examples. I hope Toews is on the market, and feels nostalgic for his home town.
...either Trouba to find a new gear defensively, or to trade him for a shut-down stay-at-home D to pair with Morrissey. Trouba is making the same reckless forays & pinches for which we used to criticize Buff (see Calgary’s first goal, and many others this season). Don’t know who might be available (?).
...Hellebuyck to find another gear.
I don't think it's tentativeness, especially through the neutral zone. The issue is that he has always played like a scorer, looking for soft spots in the offensive zone. That takes him away from puck support, so his linemates have more work to do in puck pursuit and possession. Also, he still struggles in puck protection. He'll work it out, but for now it means that he relies a lot on his linemates to generate offense, with his role more as a finisher. This is a thought provoking post. Not sure I totally buy it, but just maybe there is more tentativeness to his game as a result that he has never got past.
I was basing my post on Little’s play over he past year. (Ditto Trouba, ditto Hellebuyck.) This Calgary loss merely highlighted what, to me, are three things standing between us and a Cup.Problem on the 2nd line last night wasn't Little, it was the two wingers.
