He is going to be a pretty good top 6 C for Habs, can't wait to see him with Hoffman and Anderson.

I would play him with Drouin and Anderson.

He's a scoring center so having a passing winger would help him produce.

Gallagher, Hoffman, Caufield, and Toffoli are our 4 best wingers. Please keep them away from Anderson and Drouin - unless some kind of special chemistry emerges.

Drouin and Anderson have serious flaws in their games offensively, let alone defensively.

Well if he’s “Danault” at least the money is right.

He's not as good as Danault defensively but he can score goals while providing a solid defensive game.

Fun to lose both Danault and Kotkaniemi for someone who, if we’re lucky, will be a bit better than Danault. Bergevin and Molson and everyone in the team organization should be fired. This is a fiasco all around.

And Poehling can a little better than Kotkaniemi. So what's the question?

35-40 pts would be good return for 4.5M AAV. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Guys like Anderson is the problem. Barely worth half of his salary.

Exactly why Drouin’s playmaking would be a complementary skill set

Just watched Dvorak's goals from the last 2 seasons. Alot of them were tip ins. He has no issues battling in front of the net.
Looks very skilled and physically solid.

Sure, I was not disagreeing with Drouin's choice, I was disagreeing with Gallagher playing with him.

I would play Anderson as the right-winger.

Anderson almost exclusively scores off the transition rush, Dvorak is a OZone pressure turnover player Gallagher is more suited for that role is what I meant

Yeah well Dvorak could score after Anderson generates rebounds with his drives to the net.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes during the camp.

The reason I don't like Gally with him Is that they both love to be in front of the net...

A quality 2 way C with good offense could allow Drouin to play his game, who knows.
