Saying you're sorry the other guy got hurt is not remotely the same thing as apologizing. It's just basic civility. Saying that his only regret is not getting the goal is inflammatory and immature, imo.

I always liked Kreider and I do not like Lucic or Chara and don't want to see him go that route.

The question was a gotcha question. It was framed as if he did something wrong. He says he would have done something wrong he's basically admitting reckless play. He basically insinuated that it was accidental and he couldn't change anything.

Everyone is too sensitive and always looking for an apology. I like the fact that Kreider simply said he regrets not scoring the goal.

Brassard took a big shot approximately 2 seconds after he gave up the puck and you don't hear a single thing about it. Where is the apology for Brass?

Where is the apology from the Canadians to their fans for sucking so badly on the ice, they got walloped in Game 1?

Where is the apology from Canada for giving us Beiber?

So true.

Also thank you for clearing up the quote, SnowblindNYR

I'd like to focus on Kreider and get off this non incident. This fake scandal if you will.

The thing with Kreider that impresses me is that he could be that very rare athlete that can almost will himself to become a factor in any game at any moment.

There are just very few hockey players that have this combination of incredible speed and strength combined with skill and size.

I know some people will accuse me of hyperbole. I think I'm being conservative when I say that we have not even scratched the surface of what this kid is capable of.

I have maintained that Kreider is the most physically player this organization has drafted since Alex Kovalev.

...and I would wholeheartedly agree with you Jas. Except that I think his abilities & natural gifts exceed Kovalev. And yes, I know that's saying something.

This is a very special player. And as good as all his physical gifts are the biggest thing he has going for him is the head on his shoulders. A very bright, intelligent young man. He has the smarts as a person to be handle the strains of hockey super stardom. That's where he is headed. He'll need all the smarts he can get.

Kreider with the primary assist on Nash's goal. Kreider screening Tokarski while MSL scores on the power play. Still looks like he's been fired out of a cannon on the forecheck. He has transformed this team.

Kreider is something special. Very very special. That speed and power is phenominal.

While many have attributed the turnaround to MSL's mother's death, I think Kreider's return was also critical. Also, against MTL in particular, they seem to have no answer for Kreider.

No, Kovalev had more talent than pretty much any hockey player I have ever seen. Talent wise Kreider can skate faster that's it.

Love this kid...what a combination of size and speed.
I was flabbergasted the Habs let him stand in front of the net untouched for a good minute on that PP goal. This was sorely missed when he was injured.

He's been a huge boost to this team since coming back. It's actually hard to over emphasize it. No other player quite brings what he has when he plays involved, and he has been very involved.
I love blazing speed, it's so useful and fun to watch.

Watching Kreider in the penalty box at the start of the 3rd, damn he looked scary.

Think I'd back off if I had an argument with this guy.

If this guy can learn how to fight and look to hit everything in sight. He'll be Lucic, + skill and draw dropping speed. Lucky to have Chris. Knew he would be a huge factor to this team.

5-1 since he returned, and the loss is a game we should have won. He's completely changed the dynamic.

I think you're confusing games 3 & 4 of the Pittsburgh series. The team was terrible in game 4. I think they only managed 15 shots all game.

Who cares if he fights? He doesn't need to fight to make his presence felt. Why anyone wants their offensively talented players getting constantly punched in the head is beyond me. It's not the 1970s anymore.

Yeah, you're right. We did score two in that game, though. Better than 0!

Intimidation.. No one would go near Lundqvist. Not saying to fight every game maybe 2-3 times a year when he has to protect himself or a teammate.
