He'll be a very good, driven, middle 6 forward.

It was a really close game in all respects until a 5 minute head shot penalty given to Oil Kings Wiebe in 3rd period. Deserved.
Ice scored twice on that PP to go up 3-1 then scored an empty net goal to go up 4-1. Fifth goal was a stinker by Cossa.

Savoie got injured in tonight's game. Don't know how bad, but he left the game & didn't come back.

Wininpeg tied the series 1-1 while offering Edmonton their first loss these playoffs with a 5-1 win.
- Guhle with 0 pts / -1 / 4 SOG
Seattle also ties their series against Kamloops with a 4-1 win.
- Schaefer scored his 6th of the playoffs in an empty net. He now has 17 pts (6G, 11A) in 14 GP.

Again a Best-of-5.

Whoever gets named head coach tonight will be their 5th since Feb 2020. I just heard the SeaDogs players are meeting tonight at 8pm ATL time (7pm EST). Possibly meet the new head coach.No idea if it was expected, but that's 3 coaches in 3 years and he was much better than the last two. Also, now they need a new coach for the Memorial Cup in a month.

It turned into a beautiful day so I went out and did stuff. Still out, so not watching Hamilton vs North Bay, but I see it's 3-0 Hamilton only 7 minutes into 2nd period.

The early exit must have really left a bad taste. It's pretty gutsy in any case, I wonder how the players will respond to this.

5-0 Hamilton, 10th win a row ! Their PP is running at 40% in the playoffs and they're disciplined, not retaliating
For Xhekaj if he can play on RD also it should really help him hang on a NHL roster spot. He's used on 2nd PP unit and to shutdown (with much success) opponent's top line.
In the post game segment, Mysak was singled out for comments by the Hamilton TV guys. Praised his work ethic, attention to details, "never takes a shift off, first to the rink, only a missing limb would keep him off the ice, very mindful of his Def game". I only saw the 3rd period during which he did ok, disciplined at the end of the game to draw a penalty. Saw 1-2 "Jake Evans moments" where he put himself in vulnerable positions around the boards but was ok. Not sure he's back at 100%.
Hamilton team is stacked, was pleasantly surprised to see such praise on Mysak, team analyst said "for sure the Mtl Canadiens have a future NHL player there". He is an Assistant Captain also. As always we'll see but that was ecouraging and noteworthy praises. The Rocket is gonna be exciting next year !

Yeah, he's playing injured. Definitely needs time in AHL, but he's a Lehkonen type player.
Don't know if he plays center in NHL or LW.

Dominique Ducharme could be part of the Sea Dogs coaching staff as consultant (like Bob Hartley with Shawinigan in 2012)

Demidov is a HAB
He's a winger if you want offense out of him. Obviously being able to swing to the middle is a nice versatility piece but he's just so much better offensively on the wing.
