Skellefteå - Linköping

Lukko - Luleå

SaiPa - Kärpät

HIFK - Frölunda

With the exception of Skellefteå, I'm onboard with that QF prediction. I can smell a Frölunda - Skellefteå final. :)

God damn QF moved to Frölundaborg because of floorball WC in Scandinavium on the 9'th. Shouldn't be an issue for the team.. but there's no beer sold in that "arena" and it's a ****ing hassle to get there.

Sparta Prague sports manager Patrik Martinec was assessed a match penalty by the on-ice officials for making an obscene gesture. The incident occurred at 59:58 of Tuesday's game in Linkoping. CHL News

Anyone knows what gesture this was? Must have missed it.

Edit. Ah when he left ice.

JYP loses as Mikko Lehtonen scores the SO winner :laugh:

Kärpät with an easy win over Vienna, they will face another Finnish team SaiPa on 1/4 finals.
So SaiPa will advance. Kärpät will come jacket loose to these matches and SaiPa will give everything they've got.

QF Predictions.

Skellefteå - Linköping

Lukko - Luleå

SaiPa - Kärpät

HIFK - Frölunda

I think SAIK takes it a bit more seriously now. Especially with it being an SHL rival opponent. Other than that, I agree with your calls. Would be cool if LHF turned things around and took out Liiga's top team, but they've been a mess lately. :help:

Yup, you're probably spot on. Last game they skated all like "i dont care" with the exception of Kabanov. If Svensson is back and Schremp, Aho along with Burström, LHC is up for a real fight.

The way i see it - shut Micflickier and Taffe down - LHC got nothing.

It would also depend on what team Linköping have available. They have also been missing key players lately, which have hampered the rest of the lines. For game two against Sparta they had to use a d-man from the U20 team as a forward thanks to the excellent rules of this tournament. :shakehead

I would also say that Skellefteå is the favourites here though. This is however a best of 2 series, so anything can happen. It could be decided by a hot goalie, a could streak (or hot streak) or perhaps even a lucky bounce.
