We are getting the answers to that as we speak. Most of the finns also thinking that our league is the best (behind NHL and KHL), but lets see. I personally think it's very close between SHL, NLA and Liiga, with DEL and Czech Extraliga a little behind and as proven here in the CHL the Austrian league is not alot behind either.
Salzburg is playing just great, just barely lost against JYP also. Austrian teams very strong so far in the CHL.
Except Bozen/Bolzano who could barely field a team and started recruiting two weeks ago because it wasn't sure if they could even play in the Austrian league this season.
I just read the CHL.net entry on Lukko Rauma. "its roots go to as early as 1020"? Didn't know they had skates back then.![]()
Lakers had tons of chances, yet only managed to score 1 goal....this wont end well
Wait wtf? djurgården has yellow jerseys? =o <feeling stupid>
Haha, you never know with those Raumonians(I live in Pori, a city located 50 kilometers North from Rauma, huge rivalry
)
I didn't really count Bolzano as they're not an Austrian team even though they play in EBEL and as you stated it would be pretty unfair against them to put too much stock on their play right now.
Stream from Zlin disappeared, I guess...
Växjo thinks they can play north south against trapping teams on big ice.
I'm not so sure after all we are losing top players to the NLA
Better paid in the NLA, small travelling distances, a beautiful country and easier to bring the family with them (in comparison of leaving the family home while playing in the KHL as a lot of guys do) are just a few good examples why players leave to play in Switzerland.

How teams do in CHL-games doesn't decide how good the leagues are.So far, if I recall right, SHL has 3 wins over NLA teams, while NLA has 1 win over an SHL team. But it has to be mentioned that there are pretty different play styles with SHL teams being more defensive oriented and NLA teams more run and gun.
Örebro also has 2 pre-season wins and 1 loss against NLA teams.
