Toews had his best year in awhile last season in a bit of a resurgence but he’s had a real quiet start. Kane has generally been himself this season I think. I think they overslept today, nothing other than Dach looked right for them.Life has gotten in the way of late, so I haven’t really followed the league too closely, but have Kane/Toews usually been that invisible lately? Barely heard Toews name today, and heard Kirby far more than Kane.
That was a dominant third period, maybe against an opponent who had already given up but dominant nevertheless.
We looked as fast as the old Hawks. They had no answer to the forecheck.
