Was looking at PuckPedia roster and noticed defenseman Joey Keane is still listed as a restricted free agent. I'm assuming if he plays this year it will either be in the KHL or somewhere else overseas but he doesn't appear to be signed with anyone.

Any chance he winds up with the Wolves on either a two-way or AHL contract?

We gave him a QO to keep his rights when he was leaving for russia. That is all. Doubt he comes back

Man, Spiros Anastas's international coaching profile is something else. Canada, South Korea, Estonia, Serbia, Greece, and China. I get that some countries without much hockey background would want to bring in a Canadian coach (he at least has dual citizenship in Greece), but it's crazy to me that he's coached for *all* of those countries.

i forgot to say - click on the replies and there are more pics/drawings and it says the wolves will use it starting next year. it is right by allstate arena.

Some good news for the Wolves. (Edit to add - also, pretty old news now, but i hadn't seen it.)

yes, some did @ the androckitis guy. he responded that his hit piece was just about the practice facility for this year. shockingly enough, they worked that out in time and the Wolves are using that facility like everyone who can fog glass knew they would.

Recognizing that the team was young, I'm still surprised by the lack of scoring by the Wolves. This is bad:

Coaching, new system adjustment or young players (although there are a number of older players on the squad)?
I think most of it is new system with new players who haven't been playing together. The coach said he wanted to put a system similar to Carolina's in place.

We remember how well that went at the start of 18-19 with Rod's system.

7 of their 9 games with a 1 goal difference. Just need some goals.
