People forget/overlook how much he does? He’s playing 1D on a rebuilding team. Of course he’s being asked to do a lot, for anyone at any age. Surprised people need to be reminded of this.

Most teams in our situations would shelter their 21yo. Sure they'd get lots of minutes because young legs, but they wouldn't see the #1 matchup every shift in every situation. What that chart illustrates is that no team leans on their #1 more than the Wings do. Not Hedman, not Makar, not Fox, not Dahlin, etc...

And even with the toughest usage in the league Seider is still looking elite and only getting better. I don't think he'll be Lidstrom level but Chelios/Pronger/Stevens?
