Looks like about a 5th (total)Are these prospects going to Chicago worth much?

He signed a fully guaranteed contract in freakin 2012 that has him working into his 40s. The league's contracts would look like a massive farce if they didn't change the rules lol. Every tanking team would be carrying 4 of these anchors. It’s not a big deal, but it’s kinda ridiculous how Weber was eligible for the HOF while still having an active contract. It’s a joke. Just seems a bit wonky.
No way you missed that game. He played in the Coyotes last game ever.I wouldn’t say so. Soderstrom is a former Coyotes pick who struggled to stick in the lineup. Heard he’s having a great season in the SHL though. Raty I don’t know much about. He had a single game for the Coyotes last season but either I missed the game or don’t remember how he did. He was struggling in Tucson this season, just based on his stats (not that I’ve watched any Roadrunners games, so there could be more to the story but I doubt it). Neither were likely to ever play in the NHL for us again.

Wasn't prongerCongratulations to Shea Weber for being the first player ever to be traded after being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Word.I'm so tired of these "dead" contracts being moved around just to get to the cap floor...wild times!
Then he would now have to show he is actively trying to get back?Side effect of NHL contracts being fully guaranteed. If Weber had filed for retirement after it being obvious he was never going to play another game, he'd lose out on the money from the rest of his contract.
I always had an idea in the back of my head. Let the too injured to ever play again guy retire and collect his check, but it doesn't count toward the cap. However, If he does come back and play at anytime in any capacity (including beer league), the team he retired from is hit withWord.
I wish they did something about this, there is just something that irks the f*** out of me with these.

And yet, 53 year old Jaromir Jagr still isn’t eligible.
Price's contract might get moved after July 1st when his bonus is paid out
I always wonder how much this affects his taxes?
Like for active players, (afaik) they get taxed on where each game is played. On LTIR he's paid by insurance, so is it still based on location? And if so his accountant must be so annoyed by this every year.
