I thought it would cost slightly more like a 2nd + 3rd or 4th, but not too far off.

Also, Ottawa’s 2023 2nd probably has more value than the typical 2nd thrown into a cap dump. So that could factor in only getting a future 6th.

Earlier in the season, yes two 2nds. That price has been declining as the season progresses.

Also as I mentioned I think the Ottawa 2023 2nd holds more value than the average historical 2nd included in these sorts of deals.

He was already paid 2M bonus in July, which means he would have had like $1M left for the year.

If new Owners are paying $800M+ for a team, they will not give a f*** about $4.5M for Zaitsev next season.
