Dustin Brown is playing like he's on the verge of retirement. His crappy play is reminding me of the last years of Dave Taylor, Nelson Emerson and Steve Heinze, all of them were solid top six forwards who drastically declined in their latter years. Brown's best years are clearly behind him.

Heard at least three Pearl Jam tunes through the MCR speakers tonight. I'll take Vedder and Co. over most crap you hear at arenas.

MTS has the best selection of music I've heard - Tool and NIN are played A LOT. Randomly (usually before a big faceoff) they play a clip from Just Like You Imagined.

United Center plays some NIN too. I've heard Head Like A Hole a few times.

Just being curious, I checked out another song by that band on YouTube, called "Henrietta."

Confirmed. The band sucks and so does their music. It's joke music, with joke hooks, joke lyrics, and joke members in the band. Just one, big, ****ing joke.

Nothing at all legit, like this:

Now, if the Blackhawks had goal music like this, I could dig it.

I dont mind them, they had a couple of good songs. I was in london when they were on the radio all the time ( 5 or 6 years ago), so i guess it stuck. It beats a lot of the bubblegum bs coming out these days.

For a team so focused on Defense and Possession you'd think the coaching staff wouldn't stand for all opportunists created by flubbed passes through the neutral/offensive zones. I'm not even talking about good defensive plays by the other team, just pucks hitting a guys stick then gets left behind.

I think you guys are being hard on Brown. He's really trying.

Lewis with Kopitar again. It isn't the top line anymore so I'm not mad.

Greene at forward before Weal. #RP5

Sure he's slow as ****, but he could go stand in front of the net and roam around trying to beat people up in the corners. When he gets beat down the ice there's 2 other forwards and 2 D to help out. It'll work... I promise

Lewis brings speed to that line says Sutter. Guess what, he looked slow as hell tonight, and if it wasn't for him missing wide on that shot, Muzzin would've never gotten the puck and put on net for the eventual goal by Kopitar. The Kings had plenty of chances to make it 3-1 or even bigger but alas no finish tonight around the net, then high and wide showed up again in the 3rd.
On to St.Louis.

I didn't see anything but the highlights, but the biggest thing that sticks out to me is that we clearly need to give McBain a long term contract and a letter.

Speaking of jokes. Dustin Brown has 11 points in his last 46 regular season games, Has a 2.7% shooting percentage in those 46 games and is 2nd only to Jake Voracek in the league with most SOG w/o a goal scored at 43. He hasn't scored a power play goal in almost a calendar year (11/18/2014) and that goal was the only PP goal he's scored since 10/09/2013. He's making $7.25M this season and the Kings have a $5.88M cap hit with him for 6 more years after this one. But hey, he's really good in the room and he cares, I mean, you saw his off season work out youtube videos right? :sarcasm:

I had a dream we traded Kopitar, Brown, and a bunch of picks for Crosby. It was a good dream.

Look what happens when McBain isn't in. Also, I think that scum bag Ribiero might have broken Erhoff. I really wish McNabb would have connected on that hit against Kane, that little ****er. I don't think Brown is ever going to score again.

Does he get a lot of PP time anymore? I think the unit usually starts with Kopitar Carter and gaborik/Toffoili (gaborik last year TT this)
Brown needs to find the back of the net but I don't blame him for the lackluster PP

****, I didn't know Kruger knew martial arts. Didn't see that before. Lol at Quick. I'd also love to hear what Lewis and Shaw were discussing.

But yeah that's just a dirty, unnecessary play by Kruger, they were just wrestling, the hell man.
