I'm not really sure why you think you can express your opinion about it but if I do it's "harping". Also, I do believe i titled this thread "you can't win 'em all" and all I said was something about Chicago's ****** goal song. Not exactly trashing the Kings...

You stated your opinion and I stated mine. But you did harp on my musical taste a bit in the previous page.

That said, I'm calling it a night. Gonna agree to disagree.

Oh stop. If I recall, the last time these teams met in the playoffs the Kings came away with the win.

Several team holes, ignored amidst the rose colored winning streak, were exposed tonight. No secondary scoring if the Carter line is quiet. No top end D capable of important minutes beyond Doughty and Muzzin. Etc. etc. This is not a perfect team.

And Kopitar, that's why Kane makes 10 million and you won't.

People will deny the clear evidence though. I don't know if he does it to be cool. I have many, many dentists and oral surgeons in my family. I've seen some really awful stuff.
 
And enough with the Chicago ******. They have some real issues this season, and they needed this win. You guys are acting like we just lost game seven in 2014. Chill.

Dean needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat on the blueline. And when will Brown start getting the flak he deserves? Great, the guy hustles. But this team keeps shoving a square peg into a round hole with Brown on a scoring line. He is not an offensive threat anymore. He's done. He'll never come close to 25-25-50 again. He's a shell. Let him anchor an energy line in the bottom six and be done with it.
 
Chill out guys. They got their first loss after 7 straight wins, 4 of which were against the Central. Losing in Chicago isn't even noteworthy. Just beat St Louis tomorrow and it will be a successful b2b.

Just being curious, I checked out another song by that band on YouTube, called "Henrietta."

Confirmed. The band sucks and so does their music. It's joke music, with joke hooks, joke lyrics, and joke members in the band. Just one, big, ****ing joke.

Nothing at all legit, like this:



Now, if the Blackhawks had goal music like this, I could dig it.
 
Kind of a final thought on tonight's game. To me the Kings played their game for about 30 minutes and dominated the boards and possession of the puck.

What usually happens in Chicago happened again tonight though. Chicago kept it close and their best game breaker made a couple of big plays. The Kings usually only beat Chicago when they pay special attention to Kane and hold him to a point or less, and they failed to do that tonight.

Speaking of jokes. Dustin Brown has 11 points in his last 46 regular season games, Has a 2.7% shooting percentage in those 46 games and is 2nd only to Jake Voracek in the league with most SOG w/o a goal scored at 43. He hasn't scored a power play goal in almost a calendar year (11/18/2014) and that goal was the only PP goal he's scored since 10/09/2013. He's making $7.25M this season and the Kings have a $5.88M cap hit with him for 6 more years after this one. But hey, he's really good in the room and he cares, I mean, you saw his off season work out youtube videos right? :sarcasm:
 
Meh, rang a couple posts. One of those goes in and the result is different. They didn't play fantastic, but whatever. Chicago is now 6-1 in their barn, they rarely lose there.

They won 7 in a row. It's not like they came out and laid an egg.
 
Crawford was awesome tonight. Well-deserved win for the Hawks.

Probably a good bet that Weal gets in tomorrow. McNabb, Pearson, both struggled. Shore has 1 point in 11 games at 3C. Gabby has been a non-factor. Kopi clearly needs better wingers. I'd try Weal on Kopi's wing.

I know this sounds like an overreaction after one loss, but frankly these were all issues during the win streak as well. Can't expect Carter's line to score multiple goals every game.
