You're looking far too much in my comment that was meant to poke fun of the fact we can beat good teams (Tampa) but lose against terrible teams (Ottawa).
I just have a problem with implications of professional athletes tanking and how hugely unethical that would be. Saying the team is frustratingly inconsistent is completely fair.

It may be a bit late but this is sports and you can’t cry that things are tough. At least we have a playoff fight to cheer for over the next month +.
I'm more interested in the consistency at this point - I know they have the horses.
No crying from this fan - I'm more encouraged than anything after this game (regardless of opponent).

Our top 9 looks pretty good to me - if Helle settles in and our D play average, we are a team that could surprise.
I hope they ramp it up now - some good things are starting to happen out there.

I’m a die heart fan. All I need is hope and I can enjoy the process of putting up a good fight. It is all we got at this point. But if we make the playoffs it will be on the back of a late season run and no one should take us lightly if that happens.

Just returned from the game, its always a blast to win. Lots of Foo Fighters reference music (TV breaks and exit video) and good beer...

Great to see Shuffles walk in with 9 seconds left and wire it so hard past that Dogs goalie.

The kid also had fun - together he and I are perfect W's for our home games. We are very similar in many ways -> including being Ride or Die with our Jets.

Nice job Jets!!!

Cool stuff...

...Anyways, let me tell you all about how our players are tanking so they can hit the golf course early:sarcasm:

I fell asleep for most of this game, so I don't really know what I missed. From what was posted, I don't think I missed much. Mark Scheifele managed to solve Karel Vejmelka, not once, but twice, so there's that...

He scored two goals, not two goats...geez... As for our playoff hopes...

Seriously I'm getting so sick of this BS ... one second before the game was tied.
Every Jet is watching the puck instead of playing the man.
No opposing player is afraid to go to the net against the Jets soft defence ... even Roslovic did last game and got an assist on the first goal.
Boy do I miss Buff and even Chiarot.

OT: Will Smith went up on the stage and punched Chris Rock in the face during the live Oscars broadcast for making a joke about his wife. Craziest thing I have ever seen.

What was the joke even about. That was a crazy reaction by him.

Edit: looked up the incident, incredibly tasteless joke on Chris Rocks part. Yeah let's make a joke about someone's appearance that they can't help due to a condition. I'm not condoning Smith here as violence is never the answer.

That was not acting, that's just incredibly bad PR at one of the biggest events of the year on live television. Don't be surprised if Will Smith's career is done after that one.

Scientologists are already working on a scandal to defame and discredit Chris Rock.

Probably not even a joke.
