Our team is like an awesome stereo system with great speakers but the EQ is all wrong.
It's stupid comments like yours that embarrassed oiler fans and bites you in your cocky ass. First of all calling an nhl roster shitty is laughable considering they all have pride and want to win and are in the nhl. Grow up!! Any team can kick the oilers ass on any given night and I respect all teams. Instead of insulting other teams I would be concerned how the oilers lack finish most of this year
I appreciated the comment too. I love Troy Stecher. He has been better than almost all our forwards in this game. A bunch of our forwards are missing in action. Its like they're trying not to be found in the witness protection program.Lmao at Stecher calling the game a snooze fest
It's not a garbage goal but watch his feets on the replay, kind of an elephant stepping on marbles
<2GF/G at home. Absolutely humiliating.Oilers have the least home goals in the NHL
this is supposed to be a "high-powered" offense
clearly Skinner's fault they can't score
Stecher just described is as a pretty sleepy game. No doubt. Bunch of passengers in this one playing down to the level of the injured Islanders, a team that will clearly miss playoffs. Can't say I'm impressed with most of the team. Drai, Ekholm, Kulak playing well. Everybody else this is just a sleeper. Oilers still not showing much this far into season.
On the Palmeri goal, who was the Oiler forward casually cruising back into the Oiler zone? Was it RNH?
Lateral movement isn't really Skinner's forte."Skinner had no chance" Oh sure Debrusk. That was the slowest move across you see an NHL goalie make. Islanders have had little going and they get a goal, a post, two empty net looks. Wish we had a Sorokin.
Imagine paying money (sorry to anyone that paid to see this game live, please don’t throw things at me)
Apparently that lack of lateral movement is so obvious its spotted as far away as the KHL.Lateral movement isn't really Skinner's forte.
I wonder about that myself. But even if there isn’t some core issue, we lost a group of players and basically all of Bouchards buddies, Skinner lost his best bud and we brought in a bunch of new guys.im betting locker room issues. The team isn't as tight as it was last year. You can see it in the body language. You have players shrugging off goals, too many mistakes being made that are from lack of effort. Also McDavids iq dropped 40 points. Guy is trying too hard and becoming a liability by forcing stupid passes and bypassing his chances.
This should've been a Prime game. f*** Prime.I sold my tickets for this game thank f***ing God.
I know he has many supporters on the thread but to my eye he has really struggled both offensively and defensively.
Stecher is an easy guy to root for. Smart, feisty player and his size/frame is his main limiting factor and he was bang on with that comment.I appreciated the comment too. I love Troy Stecher. Yeah. Ekholm, Kulak, Stecher have been some of our better forwards this season. Read that how you will. heheStecher is an easy guy to root for. Smart, feisty player and his size/frame is his main limiting factor and he was bang on with that comment.
Without being cliche most of the forwards just need to dig in a bit more, especially in front.
No joke the isles must be edging toward a rebuild. I’d take soro …."Skinner had no chance" Oh sure Debrusk. That was the slowest move across you see an NHL goalie make. Islanders have had little going and they get a goal, a post, two empty net looks. Wish we had a Sorokin.
