I guess it depends on your definition of "Elite".
He has 668 career points in 833 games = 65 points a season and has played 91 playoff games. There are a great deal of miles on his legs.
I do not consider this elite.
At 31 YO, he has 2-3 years of good play left.
I think you are trading apples to apples with Lindholm for JT.
Would rather trade Coyle and maybe another piece for him.

I consider Pasty an elite forward.

Elite IMO are:
McDavid
Draisaitl
Nathan
Aho
Matthews
Hughes
Sid
Ike
Bedard
Barkov

He has lots of mileage on his legs at 32 YO. Over 900 games played including playoffs.
6 more years of Lindholm or 5 more years of Miller.

You have responded to my post but it appears you didn't read it.

We're playing Jeopardy here. I give an answer, you reply with the question.

Remember, he's tall.

Could take him a little longer.
Wouldn't surprise me at all. I have found in general that most bigger forwards seem to hit their peak after age 26.

Vancouver really struggling to score. Why do the bruins want any of their players? We need players that help the bruins to score.
Kind of why, they’re not an ideal trading partner with the Bruins. On top of that the Nucks are battling for a wild Card spot, I don’t see them blowing it up and trading either of their top two centers in season, unless a top 2 comes back.

I don’t care about his points at the beginning of his career the last 5 years he is a point a game player who plays with a edge. Offensively Lindholm has been absolutely terrible. Not Even 1/2 point a game? Totally agree about the age I would rather a younger guy but getting out from Lindholm won’t get us that.

I think we are stuck with EL, who wants a second line center at his AAV?
Someone made the point that JT is an "Elite" center, IMO he is not.
If VCR wants EL back for JT, I make that trade everyday.

You are assuming VCR wants EL back, what makes you think they want him?
I didn't assume anything, I was just replying to a post, I read it hypothetical, and we were just discussing it, I am pretty positive no such transaction will take place.
