If that was the case he would be playing for Minsk. He had multiple chances with that team and never quite cut it. Furthermore, he is not a center.

he did put up 8 points in 31 khl games in 2019. not too shabby.

eliteprospects has him listed as a center and a winger. i guess he can play both

He didn't even finish the season with the team as he was cut and sent down to the Belarussian league. 0.25 PPG during the worst season in Dinamo Minsk's modern history is not too shabby? Come on now.

Maybe he can play center same way as Patrick Kane can and has played center but the guy is not a center nor has he played in that position at any decent level for any extended period. Eliteprospects are usually really good with positions so I'm going to trust he probably has done so in a couple of Extraliga games or something along those lines. However, saying "stefanovich for sure- 3-4 center for a team like minsk" is just completely detached from reality.

i have seen plenty of people ranking nhl, khl, liiga, nla, ahl and del ahead of shl. not much on hfboards but elsewhere. i personally would say shl is 3rd strongest shared with nla and ahl. however, in the 90s and early 00s, shl was probaly the second best league in the world.
I agree with your rankings.

5-3, open netter to seil the deal for Skellefteå. Good showing for Berlin. Understandable if they are disappointed. Could have taken home at least a point.

Playing Klagenfurt (who are dropping points like candy so far) will be the real test. I think we knew full well they can handle those bottom-tier teams like Rouen.

FRISK ASKER-JKH JASTRZEBIE 3–7

poland league better than norway league?

7 latvians on that polish team

We (Fribourg) have won all are games in regulation, wow, did not see that coming coming into the season but definaley a nice surprice. Especially considering the last two games we rested some guys (altough I think our Swedish opponent did the same). Curious to see who is next in the elimination rounds.

And Rungsted got whooped by Rouen in group G. France, Denmark, Norway, Poland, DEL2 are definitely very close one to another. I think one has to overrate or underrate some of those leagues significantly to set them apart if you don't take their depth into consideration.

Slovan Bratislava ended with 0 points. They lost all games. Some said i have been too down on the quality of the slovakian league but british and french teams took more point than them.

DEL2 teams does not play in CL. Its hard to compare that league to others.

5 teams from SHL advanced to playoffs.

2 teams from NLA to playoffs.

3 (!) from EBEL.

2 from Liiga.

2 from DEL.

1 from Czech league.

1 from french league.

The SHL domination of CHL continues.

Ive lost most of my interest toward this competition, but didnt the EBEL teams play in those "joke groups"? I wouldnt but that much stock on their performance so far.
