Eh. Our forward core relies solely on the hope that Tkachuk stays up and does well, and that Bennett takes a step forward. Otherwise, almost all our offense will have to come from the top line and our D.

Right now our top 9 looks like this

Gaudreau-Monahan-X
Tkachuk-Bennett-Brouwer
Bouma-Backlund-Frolik

The x is currently filled by Ferland, so probably there. Frolik and Backlund have great chemistry and the Bennett line was our best all preseason. Granted that doesn't mean much when Gaudreau and Monahan didn't really play, but they showed great chemistry.
