If Andersson is extending in Dallas, then MAYBE. Otherwise, doesn't make sense for Dallas. Need a better longer term asset than the 32nd overall pick.

I couldn't personally sign off on trading Robertson for this, but damned does OP know how to sell water in the desert.

If only Andersson had 2-3 years left on the deal. Ultimately Stars probably need RHD on term with decent cap hit + upside and a better first or another pick or two.

The Flames are better off just getting prospects or picks for Andersson. At least then they’ll be with the team for a few years.

I also don’t see any way the Flames spend big on another winger. They need centres.

Dallas needs to save cap, so throwing in the cap dump Farabee makes no sense.

Since the only reason to trade Robertson is to save cap, they would want cheaper players with term.

Anderson either a extension is the opposite of what they need.
