We don't need another Chucky situation. Robertson is not likely to sign in Calgary and we don’t need another 10M winger anyway.

If Andersson is extending in Dallas, then MAYBE. Otherwise, doesn't make sense for Dallas. Need a better longer term asset than the 32nd overall pick.

I couldn't personally sign off on trading Robertson for this, but damned does OP know how to sell water in the desert.

If only Andersson had 2-3 years left on the deal. Ultimately Stars probably need RHD on term with decent cap hit + upside and a better first or another pick or two.

Think I suggested Andersson at 50% with an extension in place and Calgary’s 2026 1st with some protection for Robertson with an extension. If Dallas is throwing in Bourque, you could look at adding a name like Farabee or Frost, unless Dallas really wants a Coleman or a Backlund retained.
