The Elkishmoes is really hard to say without sounding like an idiot either.
I do hope things turn around in Edmonton soon though, Commonwealth was my favourite stadium to watch a game in until the new Mosaic opened up in Regina.

Agreed. Let’s be honest, they have been the flagship of the CFL for decades but sadly have fallen hard in the last 10 years. I will say it again, a strong CFL includes a very strong Edmonton FC.
PS - hate the concourse at Commonwealth, usually jammed, albeit with many, many Rider mates ever I’ve attended games there
. Although when I lived in Edmonton I admit I attended non Rider games too (dont hate me). But ya as a stadium built in the mid 1970s it has held up very well. Architects, Commonwealth 78 organizers and city all to be applauded.

I saw that tweet as well, but have no idea who Ferg is and why he'd be a reliable source. That said, there's enough rumors to this effect, that it's definitely starting to sound like it's the case.

And of course Hamilton's coach is the guy who was on record as the coach for Edmonton when the Eskimos name was retired. The curse may have followed him.

If you’d have told me this was going to happen the day after the Eskimos sold the Trappers after arguing for years they should own them because Pocklington was going to sell them to the first rich American that came knocking and only they could be trusted to be the guardians of the community it would have made me smile.

Not sure I can recall anyone in sports that so clearly needs to be fired (Jones), but it appears that it won't happen no matter what. The team literally can't fire him. He could take a dump on each board member's desk individually over a course of weeks and he still wouldn't be let go.

Ford needs some prime playing time whether it’s here or somewhere else. He’s the best Canadian born QB this league has seen in quite some time.

The frustrating thing is we could see this from a mile away and Ford will end up leaving via free agency. I didn't mind bringing in MBT but that meant we should have moved Ford for something as there was no way he was sticking around as a back up.
I actually think it will be good for Ford's long-term development to learn to throw under an established starter but I don't think he will view things that way.
It’s so damn frustrating because the one problem this team had aside from losing was getting people into the seats, Ford did that. Was he perfect? No, but damn did I get into last years games because no play was ever dead it seemed.
If Ford leaves we will be cursing Jones name for a decade as he tears up the league.

Ford must wonder what he did for Jones to hate his guts like this. Watched as Jones signed two QB's to be among the highest paid players in the entire league, only to watch them go a combined 0-12. Just disgusting.

Jones should be fired. The GM, Head Coach and Head Loser of a bottomed out franchise shouldn't be throwing public shade. Bush league. Oh .... and trade Ford to Saskatchewan! We'll appreciate him here.
Jones is still upset that ford embarrassed him and cornhole last year by winning some games
