Such wonderful memories. Its a shame that old Spaghetti Legs Parker isn't around anymore to add to the mix. He was always good for some stories. Maybe the ghost of Parker and his sidekick Wes Montgomery will be in attendance anyway.

That picture of Moon and Wilkinson is worth the price of admission. What a duo they were.

I guess Danny Mcmanus and Bruce Lemmerman could also qualify (and a few others) as well but that's an incredible roster of QBs.

I think Bruce Lemmerman went from the EE coaching ranks to Kansas City.

I also hope he won't be the one to negotiate the league's new TV contract in which I believe expires this year or next. League has pulled in very good ratings and will get a huge bump up from the 50 million a year they currently get.

I should have been more clear, he’s coming to the celebration dinner for the “Edmonton franchise” I think it’s tonight or tomorrow (he is alum after all) his words, but is skipping the game on Saturday and all others on the weekend. Won’t skip the free meal though here or in Chicago.

And yes, he should be fired and should have been long ago but there’s no lineup of anyone qualified to replace him because the league is so abysmal. He has done zero to make it better too so the next person inherits the same shit show.

Hes like the midnight to 6am clerk at an all night confectionery. You take who applies.

Many have gone from CFL to coaching positions in the NFL but you’re right I can’t think of anyone who went to the league offices as a senior executive. Chris Jones went from Saskatchewan to Cleveland Browns to a high school then to the Elks as a coach. ;) Ooof.

Even Hugh Campbell went too, but I was thinking more of the CFL offices.

It really is a shame that this alumni event is on the same day as the Oiler game. Will be a total afterthought for most people. Hope they at least get a decent crowd, but I fear it will be a pretty lowly attended game.

Weather Channel had mixed precipitation as the forecast for 6am here. That’s just slang for wet f***ing snow. Thankfully it didn’t materialize. But it’s cold as balls. Being that I spend 6 month in the USA I pretty much never wear long pants year round unless I have to go to a funeral or something. I was outside earlier and it’s cool for sure today. Wind off the lake the last 2 days been gross.

Gonna watch the Riders and Elks play who wants to lose worse on TSN.
