Having said that, if I'm Choiniere, Duke, Saliba, Zouhir and even Vilsaint, I may not be too happy about this. Saliba got a lot of playing time last year and showed enough that he will still be in the teams plans. Vilsaint and Zouhir are still relatively unknown in terms of MLS playing time but at the same time, there won't be as much pressure to put them in before they're ready.

And lastly, I really hope this means Piette is on his way out the door to the CPL where he belongs. We have enough options at 6 though if they sell Wanyama that may be different.

If Courtois plays similar to Nancy's system, Wanyama could be great.

So Martinez is landing tonight ? I'd love it if they can make it official by tonight. I don't care if he's a DP. He's better than Luis Suarez in 2024. Suarez is finito. Basically he's Shaq with the Celtics. No clue what Miami are thinking.


Luis Muriel is flying to Orlando today. He's one of my favorite player and a Joy to watch. He was linked to other MLS teams before. Chicago got their big no. 9 as well.

The Eastern conference will be very difficult and basically thin ice for everyone but I like MTL's chances. Its looking good....

On the Canadian Soccer forum, I know they were raving about Iankov (or Yankov as they know him.) They were heartbroken when he didn't choose to play for Team Canada. He may just be better than Djordje.

Can't lie. I did not expect anything to happen this offseason. Maybe a Iankov, with some luck, but damn Im going to buy as many tickets as I can once they go on sale.
