I really like these jerseys, the black one is my favourite of the 3. The gold is a really nice touch

why do the Bruins make life so hard on themselves? This should have been easy:

1. 1970’s black jersey with the names added and wear the gold socks

2 1978 white jerseys from the Cherry era

3. Original jerseys they wore in their very first season with the names on the back

They had to do something different. They did that and are still classy. I bet the sparkle isn’t as intense as the filming shows. The 3rds are chefs kiss.

I have to say… I agree. Wasn’t impressed with those initial pics, but I didn’t see the sparkle and it just kinda works for me.

And the thirds are straight-up excellent.

Feels like a celebration. I don’t mind that at all.

Was hoping for more respect to be paid to the past. 5 of those stripes out of the 6 represent Cups won in the first half of the hundred years. Some really cool jerseys in those first 50 years in which 83% of the Cups were won.

Those 2 have to be the ugliest sweaters I've seen in a long time. I was so dumbfounded by the # of stripes that I didn't even notice the different shade of gold.

Also - Greg Sheppard is one of the most underrated players in their history

Give me the Bruins Greg Sheppard on this current team

I don’t remember anyone who didn’t like to love that player

Bucyk - Sheppard- Schmautz was an excellent consolation prize for Stanfield & Mckenzie leaving
