Yeah hoping he's released. But probably going to the clippers in another trade
He’s honestly exactly what they need, sucks he’s going to the clippers

I’d put him in bubble wrap and play him like 20 min a night for 50 games during the regular season. But they need a true point guard. Smart does it in spurts but late in games he is not that (and understandably so), they go into ISO with Tatum and Jaylen. Plays don’t get called. Ball sticks.

If Chris Paul comes here he could get a ring and wipe the choker reputation he has off the face of the map. It’s the perfect team for him. Clips are too old if he truly wants a ring. Kawhi and Paul George are broken down versions of what we have.

Yeah Paul getting bought out and then going back to the Clippers makes zero sense if his intent is winning a ring before he retires.

Another staff signing, Phil Pressey. With this signing and Sam Cassell and Charles Lee the word is they are not done signing staff. Ime stole two maybe 3 and 2 others had left so back filling 5 there are still two spots open. Mazzulla may need more than 4 assistant coaches and 1 associate coach.

I had assumed Kristaps was on the back 9 since I hadn't heard a ton of hype since he left New York, but looks like last year was actually statistically his best season yet. And he's 7'3"? Celtics really could use that size.

That's a pretty good add TBQH

Brogdon was obviously good last year- you don’t get 6th man of the year being bad- but some of his weaknesses turned out to be an issue. Namely health and defensive ability. He’s also a little too ISO for what they need on offense imo- I did appreciate his willingness to penetrate

I think he’s a good fit on the Clippers

Brogdon is a good player, and you have to give to get.

They are dealing from a position of strength to address an area of weakness. I like Williams defense but he doesn’t give you a ton offensively. Honestly none of the “bigs” do on the Celtics.

KP gives them the big who can score and stretch the floor. He will create mismatches for them too.
