Crazy that Embiid got MVP over Jokic
The media are clowns who vote on narrative the majority of the time. Jokic won the mvp as a 6 seed last season which is unusual but now that he's had possibly the best season of his career and a 1 seed he can't win it because a big narrative is you can't make someone the mvp 3 straight years when he hadn't even reached the finals or been considered the best player in the league. All for Jokic to accomplish everything that was the reason he couldn't win that third straight mvp and the guy who was begging for and won it played worse in the playoffs again and still hasn't even reached the conference finals.

Great to see a Canadian (Jamal Murray) have such a great playoff run and ending up with a Championship ring!!

..well done Jamal, Nikola and the rest of the Denver team ...well done!!

Watching how easy it was Jokic and Murray to break the Heat's zone in that series vs how bad it made the Celts look is very annoying.

Celtics blew it
Yes but also I doubt could beat the Nuggets

Whats funny is... they would have had a better chance than beating the Heat. Heat mindgames, physicality and offensive/defensive instant changes....stumped Mazzulla and Celtics

The Celtics didn't try to break the zone, they just kept heaving 3 point shots.

I understand the frustration with the this forum.

I can't agree that they should trade Smart. If Brogdon produced in the playoffs they would have been a better duo than Tatum and Brown. We need a big guy to work with Horford, I keep saying this.

I hate giving money to Brown, rewarding failure doesn't set we'll we me.

We shall see what they will do. They are adding to the coaching staff.
They have no other choice but to give Jaylen the bag. What other option do they have? Unless someone has a trade out there that brings back a comparable talent, I'm not trading Jaylen for a bunch of B level players

No big surprise here. :thumbu:

from espn.com:

Veteran forward Danillo Gallinari has exercised his $6.8 million player option to return to the Boston Celtics for the 2023-24 season, his agent, Michael Tellem of Excel Sports Management, told ESPN on Thursday.

Having nearly reached a full recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee that caused him to miss the 2022-23 season, Gallinari will get to make his franchise debut this year in what is expected to be a sizable role for the Celtics.

Gallinari was injured playing for his native Italy in a FIBA qualifying game in August. He had signed a two-year, $13.3 million deal with the Celtics last offseason that included the player option for the second season.

Obviously this account is for laughs in that it scours message boards for content but you never know where people are comfortable. Still, it would be surprising if a guy gave up an NBA gig to go live in Morgantown, WV. Yes, I know he went there.
